Humans often consume roasted or popped foods, causing toxins to accumulate on their teeth. Upon initial biting, immediately use hot urine to wash the wound, removing dental plaque and blood stasis, then chew raw *Ginkgo biloba* seeds (Bai Guo) and apply them to the affected area. Alternatively, grind the seeds into powder, mix with sesame oil, and apply externally. Once swelling subsides and pain ceases, switch to tissue-regenerating medicines.
Injuries caused by the teeth and claws of bears, tigers, wild wolves, etc., resulting in skin and flesh ulcers, should be treated by internally administering a strong decoction of *Pueraria lobata* root (Ge Gen), one to two bowls, and externally washing the wound with the same decoction.
1. For tiger injuries, regardless of whether caused by claws or teeth, bleeding is invariably profuse. Generally, tiger bites occur mostly on the neck, leaving deep puncture wounds—either two or four holes. These holes will gradually drain pus, preventing further necrosis of the injured flesh. Immediately take half a jin (approx. 500g) of *Sanguisorba officinalis* root (Di Yu), grind it into an extremely fine powder, and apply it to the injury site to stop bleeding instantly. Subsequently, administer Zhi Hu Tang (Tiger Injury Decoction): *Angelica sinensis* root (Dang Gui, 3 liang), *Sanguisorba officinalis* root (Di Yu, 1 liang), *Rehmannia glutinosa* root (Sheng Di, 3 liang), *Panax notoginseng* root powder (San Qi Gen Mo, 1 liang), *Ophiopogon japonicus* tuber (Mai Dong, 3 liang). Add ten bowls of water, boil down to several bowls, and let the patient drink freely. After finishing the dose, the patient will rest peacefully. On the next day, the wound will itch intensely; administer another dose and allow the patient to sleep again. After five days of this regimen, the ulcer will heal completely.
For horse bite wounds forming ulcers, chew chestnuts and apply the paste to the wound. If toxic vapors enter the interior, causing mental restlessness, vomiting, and abdominal distension, crush *Portulaca oleracea* (Ma Chi Xian), decoct it in water, and drink frequently. Another prescription: first moxibustion at the affected site for seven cones (zhuang), followed by applying a mixture of human urine and dried, powdered rat feces (Shu Shi) blended with lard (Zhu Zhi), which is effective.
At the moment of dog bite, soak and wash the wound with rice-washing water. Slice *Strychnos nux-vomica* seeds (Fan Mu Die), char them on a tile while preserving their medicinal properties, grind into powder, and sprinkle on the wound; healing occurs within one to two days. For chronic ulcers lasting long periods, healing takes about half a month.
Dog rabies bites inevitably lead to manic delirium resembling canine behavior. The folk belief that small dogs will grow in the victim's abdomen is a misconception. The victim dies because their convulsions resemble those of a mad dog. Urgent medication is required to save life. Use three *Strychnos nux-vomica* seeds (Mu Bie Zi), sliced; seven *Mylabris* beetles (Ban Mao), stir-fried with aged soil to remove heads and feet; one pinch of rice, stir-fried; 5 qian of *Rheum palmatum* root (Da Huang); 5 qian of *Artemisia anomala* herb (Liu Ji Nu); 5 qian of *Poria cocos* sclerotium (Fu Ling); 5 fen of *Moschus* (She Xiang). Grind all ingredients into fine powder, mix well, and take 3 qian mixed with yellow wine. One dose completely resolves the toxin. This is a miraculous formula; a second dose is unnecessary as one suffices. After seven days, multiple doses must be taken; no case is incurable. During medication, sexual activity must be strictly avoided for two months. Avoid "fa wu" (stimulating foods), including all beans, bean oil, tofu, bean flour, soy sauce, and any products made from beans. No other dietary restrictions apply.
Mad dog bites are the most toxic. Take one pinch of glutinous rice and twenty-one *Mylabris* beetles (Ban Mao), removing heads, feet, and wings. First, stir-fry seven beetles with the rice over low heat to remove hairs. Then add seven more beetles. Take 1 qian mixed with water on an empty stomach. Shortly after, take another dose. Continue until foul matter is discharged via urination and defecation; if not discharged, administer again. If severe abdominal pain occurs, take indigo dye (Dian Qing) mixed with cold water to counteract the toxicity of *Mylabris*, or alternatively, pre-prepare a decoction of *Coptis chinensis* root (Huang Lian) and *Glycyrrhiza uralensis* root (Gan Cao), cool it, and drink. External application follows the same method. Do not eat hot foods. Abstain from beans for one year and avoid dog meat for life; violation leads to recurrence and death.
