After childbirth, a woman may experience the prolapse of a flesh-like thread from the vagina, measuring three to four cun in length. Touching it causes pain radiating to the heart and abdomen. Use three jin (approx. 1.5 kg) of old ginger, crushed with the skin, mixed with two jin (approx. 1 kg) of sesame oil. Place the mixture in a bag and fumigate the affected area while hot; replace when cool. After one day and night, the thread shrinks back by more than half, and completely retracts within two days. It is crucial not to let the thread break; if it breaks, it will be fatal.

After childbirth, if a woman experiences abdominal itching, place arrow shafts and *Inulae Flos* (Xuanfu Hua, 旋覆花) under the bed sheets without letting the woman know.

After malaria, gas exhaled from the mouth and nose swirls and does not dissipate, condensing into black matter. Over ten days, this extends to the shoulders and connects with the muscles, becoming harder than metal or stone, making eating and drinking impossible. Decoct *Alismatis Rhizoma* (Zexie, 泽泻) and drink three bowls daily for five consecutive days to cure.

Suddenly, a person experiences a wave-like sound inside the skin all over the body, accompanied by unbearable itching. Scratching leads to bleeding but provides no relief. Use *Sophorae Flavescentis Radix* (Kushen, 苦参), *Ginseng Radix* (Renshen, 人参), *Asari Radix et Rhizoma* (Xixin, 细辛), and green salt, each one liang (approx. 30 g). Decoct in water and drink slowly until finished to cure.

The worm resembles a crab, transformed from muscle and flesh, moving within the skin and making sounds like a crying infant. Mix equal parts of *Pillulariae Sclerotium* (Leiwan, 雷丸) and *Realgar* (Xionghuang, 雄黄) into powder. Sprinkle on pork, roast the meat, and eat it to cure.

While sleeping, suddenly about four to five sheng (approx. 4-5 liters) of lice emerge from the whole body, causing both flesh and blood to deteriorate. The condition worsens each night, with indescribable pain and itching. The patient can only drink water and lie in bed, wailing day and night. Bleeding from the tip of the tongue does not stop, the body and teeth turn black, lips tremble, and nostrils flare. Drinking a soup of salt and vinegar for over ten days brings peace.

Red worms resembling threads are found under the skin all over the body, two to three cun long, occasionally moving, clearly visible, causing unbearable itching that doctors cannot treat. It is advisable to make dried meat paste from aquatic frogs and eat them morning and evening. After more than a month, the worms will naturally disappear.

Abdominal distension and enlargement occur, with worms emerging from the flesh continuously. If cut off, they regenerate, making walking and sitting difficult. Take *Pyrethri Chinensis Flos* (Heshi, 鹤虱) powder, mix with water, and take five qian (approx. 15 g) to self-heal.

The abdomen becomes hard as iron or stone, fluid oozes from the umbilicus, which then transforms into a worm-like crawling pattern surrounding the entire body, unremovable by scratching. Bathe in a strong decoction of *Atractylodis Rhizoma* (Cangzhu, 苍术). Additionally, take fine powder of *Atractylodis Rhizoma* mixed with a small amount of *Moschus* (Shexiang, 麝香) orally.

Foul-smelling fluid flows from the mouth and nose. Collect it in a bowl; it appears iron-colored, with shrimp and fish jumping inside. When caught, they turn into water. This indicates rotting flesh. Eating plenty of chicken meat will cure it.
