亦效。
一、金疮腹破肠出者,看其肠若仅一半可治。先以大麦煮粥取浓汁温洗其肠,用桑白皮

Occasionally, maggots crawl inside the scalp. Use a bamboo knife to incise the skin, squeeze juice from luffa leaves (Luffae Fructus), and apply it to the affected area. The disease is cured once all maggots are expelled.
Women often experience lower back and abdominal distension and pain when menstruation approaches. Insects resembling cocklebur fruits (Xanthii Fructus) emerge from the vagina with a creeping sensation; there may be dozens of green ones, followed by the arrival of menstrual blood. This is caused by wind pathogen in the Jueyin channel generating various insects. Use alcohol-processed Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 黄连) as the sovereign drug, Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu, 白术) and Cyperi Rhizoma (Xiangfu, 香附) as minister drugs. Grind into powder, make pills with rice congee, and swallow on an empty stomach. After about one month, menstruation will occur without insects.
Menstrual discharge takes the shape of birds and beasts, appearing to attack people. First, plug the vagina with cotton, then take one qian of Myrrha (Moyao, 没药) mixed with hot water for immediate cure.
Metal weapon injuries (Jinchuang, 金疮), including cuts from knives, axes, arrowheads, or sharp porcelain edges, require assessment of wound depth. The general principle is to stop bleeding and relieve pain. For mild cases involving only skin and flesh damage, if bleeding does not stop, first sprinkle Huarui Shi San (Flower Porphyry Powder) on the wound and take one qian mixed with hot child's urine (Tongbian, 童便). The stasis will transform into yellow fluid. If excessive blood loss causes sallow complexion and dark eyes, do not solely focus on removing stasis; urgently use Bazhen Tang (Eight-Treasure Decoction) to secure the root, adding Pterocarpus Santalinus Wood (Sumu, 苏木) and Carthamus Tinctorius Flower (Honghua, 红花) to harmonize. In severe cases of blood loss leading to body rigidity, spasms, locked jaw, and inability to speak, resembling stroke (Zhongfeng, 中风), only vigorous supplementation of Qi and Blood is suitable, treating according to methods for inducing spasms. Treating it as stroke guarantees death. For injuries from weapons with heavy bleeding and severe thirst, do not give food or drink immediately, fearing foreign bodies like hair in the wound. One must eat dry foods and oily substances, strictly avoiding porridge and sour/salty foods. Violating these eight taboos leads to death. There are eleven untreatable conditions: 1. Injury to Tiancang at the waist. 2. Injury to the jumping pulse in the arm or Yin Gu in the thigh. 3. Injury to the Heart or breasts. 4. Injury to the coccyx. 5. Injury to the urethra. 6. Injury to the Zang-Fu organs. 7. Extrusion of brain marrow. 8. Brain rupture, hoarseness, fixed gaze. 9. Pain not at the injury site. 10. Unstoppable bleeding, initially red then black. 11. Foul-smelling rotting muscle. Any one of these is untreatable. Otherwise, diagnose the pulse: before bleeding, the pulse should be surging and large; after bleeding, it should be deficient and fine. Deep and small pulses indicate survival; rapid, solid, floating, and large pulses indicate death. Excessive bleeding with a faint and slow pulse indicates survival; a tense and rapid pulse indicates death.
First, for injuries not penetrating the membrane, urgently mix two qian each of Frankincense (Ruxiang, 乳香) and Myrrh (Moyao, 没药) (both de-oiled) into powder. Mix with half a cup of urine and half a cup of wine, and administer orally. Apply Jin Chuang Bi Xiao San (Golden Wound Must-Efficacy Powder) to the wound.
Second, for wounds with unstoppable bleeding, apply mud mixed with water to the four sides of the bleeding area. If injured on the head/face, apply around the neck; if on the hand, apply to the arm; if on the foot, apply to the leg. This can block the blood flow, allowing time for medication application.
Third, for golden wounds that fail to heal for a long time, apply Cuohe San (Gathering Powder).
Fourth, for arrows embedded in flesh that cannot be extracted with forceps, grind one mantis and half a croton seed (Badou, 巴豆) together and apply to the wound. Endure slight itching. When intense itching occurs, extract the arrow. Wash with Huang Lian Guan Zhong Tang (Coptis Decoction for General Poison) and apply Sepiae Endoconcha Powder (Haipiaoxiao, 海螵蛸). Alternatively, apply Huarui Shi San around the wound.
Fifth, poison arrows are most dangerous in two types. In the Jiaoguang region, barbarians use copper arrowheads. Upon skin penetration,闷 (stifling sensation) and boiling pus appear due to toxicity. Another type uses Aconitum Kusnezoffii Root (Caowu, 草乌) paste on arrowheads, named "She Gang". Contact with blood causes fatal throat sealing. Urgently drink one bowl of Indigofera Tinctoria Leaf (Lan Dian, 蓝靛) juice and apply externally. If unavailable, drink juice soaked from blue cloth. Another method uses Black Soybean (Heidoudou, 黑大豆), pig blood, and sheep blood, taken internally and applied externally for detoxification.
Sixth, for abdominal ruptures with evisceration, if only half the intestine is exposed, it is treatable. First, wash the intestine with thick decoction from cooked barley using warm water. Cover with mulberry root bark tips. Suture the internal muscle of the abdominal wound tightly using human hair, leaving the external skin intact. Sprinkle Cuohe San to promote tissue regeneration. Avoid shock or laughter post-suturing. Drink rice water sparingly, gradually increasing. After twenty days, resume thick congee for recovery.
Seventh, for severed ears or nose, place human hair in a Yangcheng jar, seal with salt mud, calcine, and grind to powder. While urgent, dip the severed part in the medicine and reattach to the original site, binding firmly with soft silk.
Eighth, for severed tendons, apply finely ground White Resin (Baijiaoxiang, 白胶香) or crush Inula Root (Xuanfu, 旋覆) roots, extract juice, align the tendon ends, and seal them. They will reconnect successfully.
Ninth, for severed penis with bleeding and pain, dry the severed part, grind to powder, and take one qian with wine.
Tenth, for severed fingers, apply true Santalum Album Powder (Suzmu, 苏木 - Note: Text says Suzmu which is usually Pterocarpus, but literal translation keeps name) to the wound, wrap with silkworm cocoons. The finger will reconnect in a few days.
