In the height of summer, when human skin pores are open, one is prone to invasion by wind-heat and water-heat toxic pathogens. When these pathogens contend with Qi and blood in the skin, miliaria (miliaria rubra/heat rash) arises. The condition resembles boiling water; mild cases present as dense clusters like millet grains, while severe cases develop into sores due to maceration by hot sweat, hence the name. It is commonly known as "prickly heat."
For treating prickly heat that has been abraded into sores, it is advisable to use Chishizhi San (Red Halloysite Powder) for Pain Relief and Tissue Regeneration.
Ingredients: Chishizhi (Red Halloysite, 0.5 liang, finely ground), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, 0.5 liang, powdered), Baifan (White Flour, 2 liang), Laniancha (Waxed Tea, 0.5 liang, powdered), Longnao (Borneol, 0.5 fen, finely ground).
Preparation and Administration: Grind all ingredients uniformly. At each application, sprinkle the powder onto the affected area using cotton wool.

The term Luoli (Scrofula/Lymphatic Tuberculosis) refers to a condition caused by the stagnation of wind-heat toxic pathogens in the chest and diaphragm, preventing their free circulation, which then contends with the Liver. Since the Liver governs the sinews, this leads to the accumulation and swelling of the sinews.
For treating Luoli with nodular swelling and pain, accompanied by intermittent chills and fever, use Lianqiao San (Forsythia Powder).
