For treating "Ghost Fetus" in women, characterized by stabbing pain in the abdomen that persists day and night: Mudan San Formula.
Ingredients: Mudan (Cortex Moutan Radicis, half liang), Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Preparatum, half liang, processed until cracked and chopped), Guixin (Ramulus Cinnamomi, half liang), Zigé (Radix Puerariae Lobatae, half liang, chopped), Chishao Yao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, half liang), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, half liang, slightly fried until yellow).
The above ingredients are crushed, sifted into a powder. Each dose is four qian, decocted with one zhongzhan (unit of volume) of water until reduced to six parts. Strain the dregs. Take warm before meals.

For treating amenorrhea in women lasting one to three months, with gas masses in the abdomen that flare up, rising from the hypochondrium to rush against the heart; this is "Ghost Fetus". It is suitable to take the following formula: Chuanshanjia (Squama Manis, two fen, fried until yellow), Mudan (Cortex Moutan Radicis, half liang), Rougui (Cortex Cinnamomi, half liang, remove wrinkled bark), Guijiu (Rhizoma Typhonii, one liang, remove hairs), Lühugan (unknown specific part, likely referring to donkey-related material, one liang), Tao Jiao (Gum Persicae, three fen), Bingleng (Areca Seed, quantity implied but text cuts off).
The above ingredients are crushed and sifted into a powder. Each dose is three qian, decocted with half a zhongzhan of water and half a zhongzhan of wine until reduced to six parts. Strain the dregs. Take warm before meals.

For treating pregnancy complicated by "Ghost Fetus," resulting in multiple episodes of dark blood discharge from the abdomen accompanied by abdominal pain: Xionghuang Wan Formula.
Ingredients: Xionghuang (Realgar, finely ground), Guijiu (Rhizoma Typhonii, remove hairs), Mangcao (Herba Siegesbeckiae), Dansha (Cinnabar, finely ground), Badou (Seed Crotonis Tiglii, remove skin and heart, grind and press between paper to remove oil), Taigan (Liver of Hyracoidea, roasted until yellow).
The above ingredients are pounded and sieved into fine powder. Mix with refined honey and pound for 300-200 strikes. Form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take two pills with warm wine on an empty stomach, twice daily. Afterwards, the fetus should be expelled.

For treating "Ghost Fetus" in women and unbearable pain due to qi and blood stagnation:
Banmao (Mylabris, five pieces, fried with bran until yellow, remove head and feet), Yanhusuo (Rhizoma Corydalis, three pieces, slightly fried).
The above ingredients are ground into a flour-like consistency. Mix with warm wine and take half a qian. Continue until the fetus is expelled.

For treating amenorrhea, mass distension and fullness, and "Ghost Fetus" in the abdomen:
Take five Ge Shang Tingchang (larvae of longhorn beetles, specifically associated with kudzu vines). Mix with brown rice, fry until cooked. Remove wings and feet, grind into powder. Divide into three doses. Take on an empty stomach, mixed with Licorice Decoction.

For treating women who are emaciated and weak, suffering from "Ghost Fetus" masses and amenorrhea:
Take three liang of Yuanhua Gen (Root of Genkwa Flower). Chop and fry until yellow. Pound finely and sieve into a powder. Each dose is one qian, taken mixed with Peach Kernel Decoction. This should expel the foul matter.
