Thick pine resin (three liang, chopped), *Gleditsia sinensis* pod (*Gleditsiae Fructus*, one straight pod, remove black skin, roast until scorched yellow), Rock salt (one fen).
Pulverize and sieve the above ingredients into a powder. Use half a liang each time. Decoct with two large cups of water until reduced to one cup. Strain the dregs. Hold the liquid hot in the mouth and spit it out when cool.

White bark of *Prunus salicina* root (three liang, chopped), *Asarum* (*Xixin*, three liang), Salt (half he).

Coarsely grind the above ingredients. Use three qian each time. Decoct with half a cup of wine and half a cup of water until boiling five to seven times. Strain the dregs. Hold the liquid hot in the mouth and spit it out when cool.
Xiamu Powder for treating dental cavity pain caused by parasites.
Toad (*Bufo bufo gargarizans*, one caught on Dragon Boat Festival summer day, calcined to ash), Indigo naturalis (*Qingdai*, half liang, finely ground), Tangerine peel (*Chenpi*, half liang, lightly roasted), Dried ginger (*Ganjiang*, half liang, powdered), Musk (*Shexiang*, one fen).
Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Wrap in cotton, size appropriate to the cavity, insert into the cavity. Continue until healed.

*Lycoris radiata* bulb (*Lilu*, one fen), *Sichuan Pepper* (*Zanthoxyli Fructus*, half liang, remove eyes and closed-mouth ones, stir-fry lightly to remove moisture), Musk (*Shexiang*, one fen, finely ground), Prepared *Aconitum* (*Fuzi*, half liang, raw, peeled).
Pulverize the above ingredients into powder. Mix with yellow beeswax to form pills the size of millet grains. Insert one pill into the parasitic cavity each time. Spit out if saliva is produced.
Shexiang Powder for treating dental cavity pain persisting day and night, with rotting and foul-smelling gums.

Leek seeds (*Jiuizi*, one liang), Frankincense (*Ruxiang*, one fen), Chouhuang (one fen), Dried scorpion (*Ganxie*, half liang).
Pulverize the above ingredients into powder. Melt yellow beeswax and mix to form pills the size of a marble. Place in a porcelain bottle. Burn one pill over ashes, cover with paper, and guide the smoke out using a brush handle to fumigate the dental cavity. The parasites will emerge. Alternatively, place the medicine bottle in a bowl of water; the parasites will fall into the water.

*Gleditsia sinensis* pod (*Zaojiao*, one straight pod), *Sichuan Pepper* (*Zanthoxyli Fructus*, seventeen grains), Mangcao leaves (seven leaves).
Pulverize the above ingredients into powder. Mix with jujube flesh to form pills the size of millet grains. Wrap one pill in cotton and insert into the cavity. Remove the medicine after pain subsides.

Sha (Sand/Mineral?), Realgar (*Xionghuang*), Calcined stone (*Duanshi*, fried until yellow), Toad head (*Xiamu tou*, calcined to ash) (each one fen of the above four), *Croton tiglium* seed (*Badou*, five grains, peeled, core removed, pressed between paper to remove oil).
First grind *Badou* into a paste like flour. Then add other medicines and grind finely. Soak steamed dough in water, mix with the powder to form pills the size of mung beans.
