The etiology of hemorrhoids with perianal nodules and alternating chills and fever lies in wind-deficiency of the Large Intestine (Large Intestine) and accumulated heat in the Middle Jiao (Middle Burner). After prolonged accumulation, the pathogenic factors fail to diffuse and unblock, attacking downward into the anal canal. This leads to knotting and aggregation, forming nodules, resulting in pain, hematochezia (blood in stool), swelling, hardness, and sometimes persistent heads that do not resolve, thereby causing chills and fever. This condition is also known as Intestinal Hemorrhoids (Chang Zhi).
