When the internal organs are robust and the Spleen and Stomach are harmonious, they can transform water and grain without causing stagnation. If the internal organs are deficient and invaded by pathogenic cold qi, even after eating, the weakness of the Spleen and Stomach prevents the digestion and transformation of food, leading to the undigested state of water and grain.
