Abdominal pain arises from the deficiency of Qi in the fu and zang organs, where cold pathogenic factors invade the region between the abdomen and the stomach's mu-yuan source, condensing and accumulating without dispersing. The righteous Qi clashes with the evil Qi, resulting in pain.
When there is urgent pain in the abdomen, this indicates disease within the interior, and the pulse should be deep (Chen). If the pulse is fine but appears floating, large, and scattered instead, it suggests recovery; if the patient does not recover immediately, death is inevitable. This is because the disease presentation contradicts the pulse diagnosis.
