Ingredients: Rubi Fructus (Fupenzi, 2 liang); Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi, 3 fen); Astragali Radix (Huangqi, 1 liang, sliced); Dendrobii Caulis (Shihu, 1.5 liang, roots removed, sliced); Cynomorii Ramulus (Roucongrong, 1 liang, soaked in wine for one day, then dried); Milk powder (1 liang, soaked in wine for three days, then sun-dried).
Process these ingredients by crushing them finely and sifting through a fine mesh to make a powder. Take 2 qian before meals, mixed with warm wine.

For treating deficiency consumption resulting in physical exhaustion, insufficient bone Qi, clear and scanty semen, impotence, and weakness in the legs and knees, the Lurong Wan (Deer Antler Pill) formula is indicated.
Ingredients: Cornu Cervi Degelatinatum (Lurong, 1.5 liang, hair removed, coated with butter and roasted until slightly yellow); Cuscutae Semen (Tusizi, 2 liang, soaked in wine for three days, dried, separately crushed into powder); Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi, 1.5 liang, sprouts removed); Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi, 1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed); Ophiopogonis Tuber (Maidong, 1 liang, radix removed); Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed).

For treating deficiency consumption characterized by fatigue and weakness, scanty essence, skeletal atrophy, weakness in the waist and knees, inability to eat, and progressive emaciation and debility, the Zhongru Wan (Stalactite Pill) formula is indicated.
Ingredients: Stalactitum (Zhongru Fen, 2 liang); Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Shudihuang, 1.5 liang); Ginseng Radix (Renshen, 1 liang, radix removed); Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shuyu, 1 liang); Cynomorii Ramulus (Roucongrong, 2 liang, soaked in wine for one day); Morinda Officinalis Radix (Bajitian, 1 liang); Dendrobii Caulis (Shihu, 1.5 liang, roots removed); Rubi Fructus (Fupenzi, 1 liang); Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed).

Ingredients: Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengdihuang, 5 jin, cleaned and selected for being plump and good); Sesami Fructus Niger (Jushengzi, 3 liang); Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi, 3 liang, sprouts removed); Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin, 3 liang); Polygonati Rhizoma (Sheng Huangjing, 5 jin, cleaned); Cornu Cervi Colla (Lu Jiao Jiao, appropriate amount, lightly fried).
