This is caused by the stagnation and retention of water intake that fails to dissipate, compounded by improper diet.
For bone-steaming accompanied by abdominal masses, where there is a sensation of obstruction and pain in the hypochondrium, gradually leading to emaciation and debility, it is appropriate to take Betel Nut Powder (Binglang San).
Areca Seed (Binglang, 3 fen), Red Peony Root (Chishao Yao, 3 fen), Costus Root (Muxiang, 3 fen), Red Poria (Chifuling, 1 liang), Platycodon Root (Jiegeng, 1 liang, remove radicle), Chebula Fruit (Helile, 3 fen, roasted and use peel), Curcuma Zedoaria Rhizome (Jingsanleng, 1 liang, roasted and crushed).
