Cardamom Seed (Dingxiang, 1 or 2 liang), Lingnan Fragrant Grass (Lingling Xiang, 3 liang), Peach Kernel (Taoren, 3 liang, soaked in hot water and peeled), White Peony Root Bark (Bailian, 2 or 3 liang), Bletilla Tuber (Baiji, 3 liang), White Stiff Silkworm (Baijiangcan, 3 liang), Magnolia Flower Bud (Xinyi, 2 liang), Phytolacca Root (Shanglu, 3 liang), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, 3 liang, remove the root head), Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui, 3 liang), Agarwood (Chenxiang, 3 liang), Moschus (Shexiang, 1 liang, finely ground), Gardenia Flower (Zhizi Hua, 3 liang), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (Xiongqiong, 3 liang), Dodder Seed (Tusizi, 3 liang, separately pounded into powder), Cormorant Excrement (Lufen, 2 liang), Costus Root (Muxiang), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Gaoben, 2 liang), Pig Pancreas (Zhu Ti, 6 pieces, finely cut).
The above herbs are finely chopped. Soak the herbs overnight in the juice of the pig pancreas. Put everything into a pot and decoct until the color of Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi) turns yellow. Remove the dregs. Simmer over low heat until it forms a paste.
It makes the complexion lustrous and rosy like peach blossoms.
**Red Glow Facial Grease Formula:**
Asarum Heterotropoides Rootstock (Duhen, 1 liang), Asarum Sieboldii Root (Duruo, 1 liang), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, 2 or 1 liang, remove the root head), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Gaoben, 1 liang), Asarum (Xixin, 1 liang), Aconitum Carmichaelii Lateral Root (Baifuzi, 1 liang), Polygonatum Rhizome (Weirui, 1 liang), Gardenia Flower (Zhizi Hua, 3 liang), Dodder Seed (Tusizi, 2 liang), White Goose Fat (Bai E Zhi, 1 sheng).
The above herbs are finely chopped. First, soak the fat marrow in water, changing the water daily for seven days. Add one dou of wine to dissolve the fat marrow completely. Strain out the impurities. Then squeeze the liquid through silk cloth and mix with peach kernels to decoct.
**Another Formula:**
Cyperi Rhizoma (Xiangfuzi, 3 liang), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi, 2 liang), Lingnan Fragrant Grass (Lingling Xiang, 1 or 2 liang), Ox Marrow (Niusui, 1 sheng), Poria Cocos (Baifuling, 1 liang), Vitex Fruit Oil (Manjingzi You, appropriate amount).
The above herbs are finely chopped. Decoct together with beeswax and ox marrow over low heat until the color of Angelica Dahurica Root turns yellow. Strain out the dregs. Add Moschus and grind a thousand times. Wait for it to cool and solidify, then put into a porcelain box.
**Another Formula:**
Apricot Kernel (Xingren, 2 sheng, soaked in hot water and peeled/pitted), Aconitum Carmichaelii Lateral Root Powder (Baifuzi Mo, 3 liang), Lead Monoxide (Mituo Seng, 2 liang, finely ground), White Sheep Marrow (Baiyang Sui, 2.5 sheng), Pearl Powder (Zhenzhu Mo, appropriate amount).
First, take apricot kernels and add a little wine, grinding them into a paste. Then add egg white and grind a hundred times. Next, add sheep marrow and grind two hundred times. Finally, mix in the other powdered herbs.
**Facial Grease Formula for Treating Various Facial Diseases (Black Spots, Ulcers, Acne) to Make the Face White as Jade:**

It makes the complexion moist and delicate, fresh and white as jade.
**Facial Grease Formula:**
Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, 1.5 liang, remove the root head), Polygonatum Rhizome (Weirui, 1.5 liang), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (Xiongqiong, 1.5 liang), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi, 1.5 liang), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Gaoben, 1.5 liang), Peach Kernel (Taoren, 1.5 liang, soaked in hot water and peeled), Aconitum Carmichaelii Lateral Root (Baifuzi, 1.5 liang), Poria Cocos (Baifuling, 2 liang), Asarum (Xixin, 0.5 liang), Nardostachys Radix (Gansongxiang, 0.5 liang), Lingnan Fragrant Grass (Lingling Xiang, appropriate amount), Winter Melon Seed (Dongguazi Ren, appropriate amount).
The above herbs are crushed. Soak in one dou of wine overnight. Filter out the next day. Wrap in thin silk cloth. Use three sheng of white goose fat and two sheng of sheep fat, and decoct in a pot. Let it solidify.
**Another Formula:**
Aconitum Carmichaelii Lateral Root (Baifuzi, 0.5 liang, raw use), Deer Antler Glue (Lu Jiao Jiao, 1 liang), Rock Salt (Shiyan, 1 fen), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu, 1 jin), Asarum (Xixin, 1 liang), Egg White (Jizi Bai, 1 piece).
The above herbs are finely chopped. First, decoct Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome in 2.5 dou of water, squeeze out six sheng of juice using cloth. Place in a silver pot and steam-cook to obtain two sheng of liquid.
**Jade Dust Facial Paste Formula for Treating Lackluster Face, Rough and Dark Skin; Long-term Use Makes It White and Lustrous:**
Jade Dust (Yuxie, 1 liang, finely ground), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (Xiongqiong, 1 liang), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi, 1 liang), Polygonatum Rhizome (Weirui, 1 liang), Winter Melon Seed (Dongguazi Ren, 1 liang), Magnolia Bark (Mulan Pi, 1 liang), Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui, 3 fen), White Stiff Silkworm (Baijiangcan, appropriate amount), Aconitum Carmichaelii Lateral Root (Baifuzi, 1 fen), Pogostemon Cablin Leaf (Huoxiang, 2 fen), Costus Root (Muxiang, appropriate amount), White Dog Fat (Bai Gou Zhi, 1 fen or 1 sheng).

Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi, 3 liang), Winter Melon Kernel (Donggua Ren, 3 liang), Polygonatum Rhizome (Weirui, 1.5 liang), Asarum (Xixin, 1.5 liang), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (Xiongqiong, 1 or 2 liang), Magnolia Bark (Mulan Pi, 1 liang), Gardenia Flower (Zhizi Hua, 3 fen), Nardostachys Radix (Gansongxiang, 3 fen), Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui, 1 liang), Magnolia Flower Bud (Xinyi, 2 liang), Ipomoea Batatas Root (Tugua Gen, 1 liang), Moschus (Shexiang, 0.5 liang, remove root head), Aconitum Carmichaelii Lateral Root (Baifuzi, 3 liang, sliced and soaked in water to remove red juice).
The above herbs are finely chopped. Wrap in silk cloth. Soak in one dou of wine overnight. Take six sheng of pig fat and pig pancreas. In a silver pot, refine over low heat until dry. Apply by wiping.

The above herbs are finely chopped. Wrap in silk cloth. Soak in one dou of wine overnight. Take the fat marrow etc., and decoct with the herbs over low heat in a silver pot until the color of Angelica Dahurica Root turns yellow.

The above herbs are finely chopped. Decoct together in two sheng of good wine until the color of Angelica Dahurica Root turns yellow. Strain out the dregs. Decoct further to form a paste. Store in a porcelain vessel. Take as needed to apply.
**Hand Grease Formula to Make Hands Moist and Lustrous:**
Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi, 4 liang), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (Xiongqiong, 3 liang), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Gaoben, 3 liang), Polygonatum Rhizome (Weirui, 3 liang), Winter Melon Kernel (Donggua Ren, 3 liang), Melia Toosendan Seed (Lianzi Ren, 3 liang), Peach Kernel (Taoren, appropriate amount), Tangerine Peel (Jupi, 1 liang).
