Indicated for deficiency and exhaustion of true qi (vital energy), depletion of the lower jiao (lower burner), tension and urgency in the umbilical and abdominal regions, weakness and pain in the waist and legs, mental fatigue and lassitude, withered and dull complexion, or conditions involving blood loss, seminal emission or leakage, spontaneous diarrhea, frequent and slippery urination, emaciation of muscles, and impotence. Long-term administration can knit bones and connect sinews, consolidate essence and strengthen marrow, retard aging and restore youth, calm the soul and stabilize the spirit, renew the skin and secure vital breath, lighten the body and strengthen yang, prolong life and maintain vitality.

The above sixteen ingredients are pounded and sifted into fine powder. Mix with half refined wine and half honey to form pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take 30 pills per dose, on an empty stomach before evening meal, with warm wine. Regular use tonifies true qi and strengthens the yang pathway.
[Yuzhizi Wan (Pre-knowledge Seed Pill)]
Indicated for insufficiency of heart qi, instability of will and intent, trance-like state, confused and absurd speech, palpitations with irritability and depression, sorrow and grief, erratic emotions, insomnia, numerous strange dreams at night, waking up startled from nightmares, mania, dizziness, sudden fainting with loss of consciousness. All these conditions are suitable for this prescription.
