Write the aforementioned talisman using cinnabar powder processed with water (water-floating method). Paste it on the north wall of the delivery room. When labor begins, place it on a needle and burn it near a lamp. Ensure the ashes do not fly away. Mix with warm water and administer orally.
Shengqi Direction (Direction of Vital Energy): The parturient should sit and lie facing this direction, and the delivery tent door should open towards this direction; this is highly auspicious.
Fanzhi Month (Reverse Branch Month): Upon encountering this month, spread ash on the ground, cover it with cowhide or horse/donkey hide, then spread straw. Do not allow lochia to contaminate the ground; this is auspicious.
Huohai Month (Month of Calamity): One must not give birth in this direction, nor face this direction when urinating or defecating; avoiding it is highly auspicious.
Jueming Direction (Direction of Absolute Death): One must not give birth in this direction, nor face this direction when urinating or defecating; avoiding it is highly auspicious.
Xuan Shi Day (Day of Hanging Corpse): If giving birth on this day, one must not climb ropes. It is appropriate to hang a horse bridle; climbing it is highly auspicious.
Bi Du Day (Closed Belly Day): From the time临近 delivery until the full moon period, one must not face this direction when urinating or defecating, nor pour out waste water; exercising caution brings auspiciousness.
Bazhu Direction (Direction of Eight Transmission Spirits): The delivery tent door must not open towards this direction; avoiding it is highly auspicious.
