Regular consumption can digest cold stagnation of food, remove dampness and break accumulations, without damaging True Qi, keeping the Five Zang organs peaceful and the Six Fu organs harmonious, preventing invasion by hundred diseases.
The song says: Damage to Yin and decline of Yang is truly hurtful; even regulating Ying and Wei (Nutritive and Defensive Qi) is hard to restore. For those with weak Qi, poor blood circulation, and phlegm generation, listen to Master Sang for enlightenment. Another song: The merit of husband and wife union achieves four taels; Ling Zi and Chen Xiang are weighed at one tael. Mu Xiang, Fu Zi, Hu Lu Ba, Yang Qi Shi, Po Gu Zi, Rou Gui, Hui Xiang, Rou Dou Kou are all correct without error. Prepared with Wutong wine paste and refined carefully, returning to youth is a commendable matter.
Herbs: Chen Xiang (Sliced), Fu Zi (Processed, skin and navel removed), Hu Lu Ba (Soaked in wine, stir-fried), Yang Qi Shi (Finely ground and levigated), Hui Xiang (Fennel seed imported from overseas), Mu Xiang, Rou Gui (Bark removed, only half a tael needed), Hei Xi (Impurities removed and weighed), Liu Huang (Transparent crystals forming sand grains), each two taels.
Take a black porcelain bowl or a new iron pot, and process Hei Xi and Liu Huang into sand according to conventional methods. Remove fire toxicity on the ground, grind to extreme fineness. Process the remaining herbs by pounding and sieving into fine powder. Mix all together in one place and grind again. From morning to evening, until a black luster appears. Form pills the size of Sophora seeds using wine paste. Dry in shade, put into a cloth bag, and polish until shiny. Take 30-40 pills per dose, swallowed with Ginger-Salt soup or Jujube soup on an empty stomach; women should swallow with Mugwort-Vinegar soup.
