Stir-fry raw salt until it turns yellow, wrap it in a blue cloth, and apply hot compresses to the lower abdomen. Replace the salt when it cools down; continue until symptoms improve.

Take one qian of raw alum powder, mix with Yin-Yang water (water mixed from newly drawn and boiled water), and take orally (also treats cholera). (Alum has the power to revive the dead; it is advisable to carry it on one's person to save others at any time, regarded as an elixir.)

Pound scallion whites including leaves, mix with honey, wrap, and apply to the external genitalia; this will immediately restore patency. Alternatively, take seven apricot kernels (peeled and remove tips), stir-fry until yellow, grind into powder, and take with rice gruel. Or take daylily, decoct in water, and drink generously. Or decoct old wheat straw hats and take orally. Or pound chrysanthemum roots, mix with white wine to extract juice, and take warm.

Burn tail feathers of a rooster into powder, take one teaspoon with water and wine. Alternatively, take fourteen ginkgo nuts (seven raw, seven roasted), eat together in several doses.

Take one garlic clove, wrap in paper, roast until hot, leave exposed overnight, and take with freshly drawn well water on an empty stomach.

Take a handful of sunflowers, decoct for five to seven boils, and take orally.

Obstruction of urination and defecation: Burn soap bean pods to ash, grind into fine powder, and take three qian with gruel beverage. Alternatively, use male rat feces (those with pointed heads are authentic) ground into powder, apply to the umbilicus, or use together with scallions.

Grind Liu Jinu (Artemisia anomala Sempervirens Herb) into powder, mix with tea, and take one qian on an empty stomach.

Grind pine nut kernels into powder, mix with honey, and take orally. Alternatively, roast a single garlic clove until hot, peel, wrap in cotton, and insert into the anus.

Take one dark plum, remove the pit, burn into charcoal powder, take two qian each time mixed with tea.

Take five qian each of black sesame seeds and black soybeans, add seven bowls of water, decoct until four bowls remain, and consume within one day. Alternatively, boil crucian carp in wine and consume regularly. (This formula also treats perianal abscesses, known as a celestial prescription.)

Burn dried persimmons to ash, take two qian with rice beverage.

Bake eggplants until dry, grind into powder, mix with freshly drawn water, and take 1.7 qian orally.

Chew raw black sesame seeds frequently; one liang can eradicate the root cause. Alternatively, burn loofah vines to ash, grind into powder, and take with light wine.

Roast pomegranate peel with vinegar, grind into powder, take two qian each time with stem soup from eggplants.

Decoct mugwort leaves and fresh ginger to make a strong decoction, take one cup each time. Alternatively, stir-fry and decoct white cockscomb flowers and seeds.

This formula was transmitted by an extraordinary person.

Take seven raw and seven cooked water chestnuts with skin. Each time, eat one raw and one cooked together; severe cases may recover after several doses. (Another formula for difficult urination and defecation: Decoct fresh goji roots to make a concentrated juice, add a little yellow wine to each cup, and take warm before meals. Alternatively, decoct ramie roots and take orally. Another method: Charred cypress leaves, ground into powder, take two qian daily mixed with rice gruel; ten doses result in cure. Alternatively, take one sheng of black soybeans, roast until scorched, grind into powder, pour hot yellow wine over them, strain out the beans, and drink the wine.)
