Administer one to two cups of high-quality Shaoxing wine (fermented rice wine) by force-feeding.

In an emergency, use four taels of stir-fried Dried Ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma Preparatum), powdered. Take five qian each time, mixed with boiling water. Cover with blankets to induce sweating; recovery occurs when the limbs extend. (If more than four days pass, it is incurable. This condition is called "Yin Yi" in men and "Yang Yi" in women.)

Following severe vomiting and diarrhea, if there is coldness of the four limbs, loss of consciousness, or if after sexual intercourse there is hardness and pain in the lower abdomen, contraction and twitching of the external genitalia with cold sweat, and syncope that requires immediate rescue within moments, urgently apply stir-fried Scallion White (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) to the navel. Then, crush thirty-seven stalks of Scallion White, boil them in yellow wine, and administer. Alternatively, apply hot stir-fried salt to the navel, crush fresh ginger and scallion white, mix with wine for administration, and use the dregs for application.

A patient who saw lotus flowers covering all walls was cured by ingesting Mengshi Guntan Wan (Lapis Malachitae Phlegm-Rolling Pill).

Apply mud from the bottom of a well to the chest and heart region. Soak the hair in freshly drawn cold water. Wet a blue cloth and apply it to the chest and diaphragm; replace it when it warms up. Rub the affected area with high-quality distilled liquor (Baijiu); patting with the hand until bluish discoloration appears indicates healing.

Rub with Walnut Leaf (Juglandis Fructus Pericarpium Folium) or Wintersweet Flower (Chimonanthi Flos), or burn Xi Zi Bai Wo (likely a specific plant part or fungus) to ash and apply with oil. (Treats all types of tinea/ringworm).

Sun-dried and scorched Chive Root (Allii Tuberosi Radix et Rhizoma), powdered and mixed with lard for topical application. Alternatively, rub with raw Ginkgo Nut (Ginkgonis Semen) cut open, or crush Peach Leaf (Persicae Folium) at noon for juice application.

Mix three qian of Camphor (Camphora) with one liang of aged vinegar residue for topical application. Alternatively, rub with Pomegranate Peel (Punicae Granati Pericarpium) dipped in alum powder.

Apply Chicken Comb Blood (Galli Crista Sanguis).
Additionally, this treats both dry and damp tinea: Powder raw and calcined Alum (Alumen), mix with wine, and apply.

Fry four eggs with sesame oil, scallion, and pepper, form into cakes, and apply while hot.
