In a windless place, use hot urine to flush the wound and expel the foul blood. Fill the inside of a walnut shell with thick human feces. Apply garlic slices over the shell and moxibustion for 70–80 or even 100–200 *zhuang* (moxa cones), until the patient sweats profusely with a foul odor and feels extremely exhausted. Examine the vertex of the head; there will surely be several red hairs. Carefully search for them and pluck them out completely. (This prescription also treats tetanus) Alternatively, apply thick human feces densely to the wound, cover it with a boiled egg white, and perform moxibustion with mugwort fire for dozens of *zhuang*. Or, use *Wannianqing* (Liriope sp., a flowering plant commonly grown in households), crush the whole root including leaves, squeeze out the juice, and administer orally without any dietary restrictions; this is an immortal prescription.
Crush the roots of *Gouqi* (Lycium chinense, Goji berry) and decoct them in wine. Take one to two doses, or drink as tea, to prevent sequelae.
Prepare two clay wine pots, each filled halfway with distilled spirits (*Shaojiu*). Heat them in a water bath until boiling, discard the wine, and immediately press the empty hot pots onto the wound to extract dark black blood and fluid. When full, the pot will detach naturally. Rotate the two pots repeatedly until all toxic blood is extracted.
Chew *Xixin* (Asarum root) thoroughly and hold it in the mouth; this is effective.
Take one qian (approx. 3-5g) of finely minced raw pork meat, swallowed with warm water, which will stimulate appetite. Additionally, take sugar dissolved in wine in large amounts.
Crush *Gualugen* (Trichosanthes root) and apply externally. Change the dressing three times daily; the foreign body will discharge spontaneously. (Also treats needles embedded in flesh).
Roach crows' feathers until charred yellow, grind into fine powder, and take 2 qian mixed with wine. Alternatively, crush *Louguo* (mole cricket) and apply externally.
Boil 8 liang of honey, add 1 jin of good distilled spirits, and drink hot as much as possible to induce sweating and rest. The bullet (or foreign body) will discharge naturally the next day.
Split green onion whites, insert alum powder, tie tightly with thread, boil until soft, remove the thread, and apply to the affected area. Leave a small hole in the center so the foreign body can exit.
Iron the affected area with gold utensils; the foreign body will discharge.
Crush *Niuxi* (Achyranthes root) and apply externally. Alternatively, frequently drip tung oil, apply thick sugar paste, or burn chicken tail feathers to ash, mix with milk, and seal the wound.
Burn *Jili* (Tribulus) roots to ash and apply as a plaster.
Mix *Dahuang* (Rhubarb) powder with vinegar for external application; mixing with child's urine is even better.
Apply sesame oil mixed with lead powder (shui fen); healing occurs within one night. Alternatively, rub with water ground from olive pits or apply sugar. (Both leave no scars).
Apply cow saliva twice daily. Avoid wind, alcohol, and hot foods.
Frequently wash the wound with hot urine, or crush wild *Sanqi* (Panax notoginseng) leaves and apply externally. Also avoid alcohol and hot foods.
Place *Xingtang* (rice candy/maltose) into the wound. Wait until itching occurs, then pull out the foreign body easily.
