上作一服，用水二盅，生姜五片，红枣一枚，煎至一盅，去滓，不拘时服。一方加防风
二钱。
治风寒湿之气，客留肌体，手足缓弱，麻痹不仁。

Treats Leng Bi (Cold Bi Syndrome, a type of bi-syndrome caused by cold pathogenic factors), characterized by heaviness and pain in the hands, feet, and waist, as well as general restlessness and pain throughout the body, with stiffness and tension in the back and neck.

Combine all ingredients as one dose. Use two zhong of water, five slices of Shengjiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens, and one Hongzao Fructus Jujubae. Decoct until one zhong remains, remove the dregs, and take at any time. Another prescription adds Fangfeng Radix Saposhnikoviae 2 qian.
Treats Wind-Cold-Dampness Qi (pathogenic factors of wind, cold, and dampness) lodging in the muscle layer, leading to weakness and flaccidity in the hands and feet, numbness, and insensitivity.

Combine all ingredients as one dose. Use two zhong of water and seven slices of Shengjiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens. Decoct until one zhong remains. If the disease is located in the upper body, take after meals; if in the lower body, take before meals.
Treats Baihu Lijie Feng (White Tiger Joint Pain, a severe form of bi-syndrome with joint pain resembling tiger bites), where wind-toxin attacks and penetrates, causing bone and joint pain with irregular onset.

Combine all ingredients as one dose. Use two zhong of water and five slices of Shengjiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens. Decoct until one zhong remains, and take at any time. Another prescription contains Gegen Radix Puerariae and Mahuang Herba Ephedrae, but does not contain Duhuo or Chishao.
Treats Wuzhong Bi Tong (Pain from Five Types of Bi Syndromes), occurring irregularly in the body, legs, and arms.
