蓖麻子（去壳膜，一钱） 川芎 紫苏（各七分半） 粟壳（蜜炙，五分）
上作一服，用水一盅，生姜三片，煎至五分，不拘时服。

百部（焙） 麻黄（去节，各二钱半） 杏仁（四十个，去皮尖，微炒，另研）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸，如芡实大，食后白汤化下一丸。仲阳方加松子肉五十粒。

治小儿撮口胎热。
麝香 丹砂（各二钱半） 蛇蜕皮（一尺，炙）
上为细末，每用一字，唾调涂唇上。
治小儿脐风撮口。
丹砂 麝香 牛黄（各二钱半） 半夏 丁香 白附子 铁粉 天麻 南星（各五钱）
上为细末，煮粳米饭为丸，如麻子大，每服五丸，用荆芥汤不拘时下。
治小儿撮口，吐白沫。
川乌尖（三个，生） 麝香（少许） 赤足蜈蚣（半条，酒炙干）
上为细末，每服半字，用金银薄荷汤调服，不拘时。
治小儿口噤不开，不收乳食。
干蝎梢（七个） 腻粉（一钱） 干蜘蛛（一枚，去口足，用新竹沥浸一宿，炙干焦用）
上为细末，每服一字，乳汁调与服，时时灌之。

瓜蒂（七枚） 全蝎（一枚，炒） 赤小豆（十四粒）
上为细末，每服一字，米饮汤调服，以吐为度。
治小儿上焦有热，胎热胎毒，口舌生疮。
玄参（一两） 桔梗（去芦，八钱） 赤茯苓 人参 马牙硝（各五钱，另研） 青黛 甘
草（各一钱） 麝香（五分，另研）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸，如芡实大，每服半丸，用薄荷汤不拘时化服。
Treatment for pediatric cough and wheezing.
Ricini Semen (Bimazi), shell and membrane removed, 1 qian; Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong); Perillae Folium (Zisu), each 0.75 qian; Papaveris Pericarpium (Suke), honey-fried, 0.5 qian.
Combine as one dose. Decoct with one zhong of water and three slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang) until reduced to one-fifth volume. Administer at any time.
Treatment for pediatric cough.
Stemonae Radix (Baibu), roasted; Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang), nodes removed, each 2.5 qian; Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren), 40 pieces, skin and tips removed, lightly fried and separately ground.
Grind into fine powder. Form pills with refined honey, size equivalent to Euphorbiae Lachryma (Qianshi). After meals, dissolve one pill in warm water and ingest. The formula from Dong Zhongyang adds 50 grains of Pinus Massoniana seed meat (Songziren).
Jaw lock (Cuokou: a condition characterized by tightness of the mouth and difficulty opening it).
Treatment for pediatric jaw lock due to fetal heat.
Moschus (Shexiang); Cinnabaris (Dansha), each 2.5 qian; Ophichthus Skin (Shetuipi), one chi long, roasted.
Grind into fine powder. Apply a quantity equivalent to "one character" (yi zi), mixed with saliva, to the lips.
Treatment for pediatric umbilical wind and jaw lock.
Cinnabaris (Dansha); Moschus (Shexiang); Bos Taurus Calculus (Niuhuang), each 2.5 qian; Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia); Caryophylli Flos (Dingxiang); Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi); Ferrum Pulvis (Tiefen); Gastrodiae Rhizoma (Tianma); Arisaematis Rhizoma (Nanxing), each 5 qian.
Grind into fine powder. Form pills with cooked Oryza Sativa var. japonica rice (Jingsimi), size equivalent to Sesami Indici Semen (Mazi). Take five pills per dose, administered with Schizonepetae Spica Decoction (Jingjie Tang) at any time.
Treatment for pediatric jaw lock with foaming at the mouth.
Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata Acuminata (Chuanwu Jian), three pieces, raw; Moschus (Shexiang), a small amount; Scolopendra (Chizu Wugong), half strip, fried in wine and dried.
Grind into fine powder. Take a quantity equivalent to "half a character" (ban zi), mixed with Lonicerae Japonicae Flos et Bud (Jinyinhua) and Mentha Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) decoction. Administer at any time.
Treatment for pediatric trismus (lockjaw) where milk and food cannot be swallowed.
Scorpio (Ganxieshao), seven pieces; Calomel (Nifen), 1 qian; Dry Spider (Ganzhizhu), one piece, remove mouth and legs, soak in fresh Phyllostachys edulis juice (Zhulv) overnight, roast until charred.
Grind into fine powder. Take a quantity equivalent to "one character" (yi zi), mixed with cow's milk and administer. Drip-feed intermittently.
Treatment for pediatric trismus.
Cucumeris Fructus (Gua Di), seven pieces; Scorpio (Quanxie), one piece, fried; Vigna Angularis Seed (Chixiaodou), fourteen grains.
Grind into fine powder. Take a quantity equivalent to "one character" (yi zi), mixed with rice drink (Mi Yin Tang). Administer until vomiting occurs.
Treatment for pediatric upper jiao heat, fetal heat and toxins, causing sores on the mouth and tongue.
Scrophulariae Radix (Xuanshen), 1 liang; Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng), radix stem removed, 8 qian; Poria Cum Wood (Chifuling); Ginseng Radix (Renshen); Natrii Sulfas Crystallisatus (Mayaxiao), each 5 qian, separately ground; Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai); Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), each 1 qian; Moschus (Shexiang), 0.5 fen, separately ground.
Grind into fine powder. Form pills with refined honey, size equivalent to Euphorbiae Lachryma (Qianshi). Take half a pill per dose, dissolve in Mentha Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) decoction and ingest at any time.
