Juice pears without limit on quantity and drink the juice. In the past, a court official visited Liang Fengyu (Attendant Liang), who diagnosed him and said: "The wind disease has penetrated deeply; please return home immediately."
The official then sought out Zhao E, a horse doctor in Zhengzhou, for another diagnosis. Zhao also stated that the condition was critical, agreeing with Liang's assessment. Zhao said: "There is only one method to try: consume Xioli (Snow Pears) without limit. If chewing is insufficient, juice them and drink. After returning home, consuming only Xioli for ten days resulted in an immediate recovery." Pear leaves were also decocted and taken.
