If malaria is caused by eating raw fruits, swallow with Moschus (She Xiang, 麝香) decoction; another method coats the pills with fried Hemitropae Lapis (Tu Zhu, 土朱) and swallows them with Lao Nue Yin (Old Malaria Drink). Although ancient formulas include Biejia Jian Wan (Turtle Shell Decoction), they often fail if not taken regularly.
