治男子妇人一切风气攻注，四肢骨节疼痛，遍身顽麻。凡卒手足瘫痪，言
多服此药，以疏通气道，然后随证投以风药。

治中风痰涎壅盛，半身不遂，历节痛风，筋脉拘急。

For individuals suffering from wind syndromes, first administer this medication to regulate Qi (vital energy), followed by the administration of wind-dispelling medicines.
Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Wuyao (Linderae Radix) (each 1.5 qian), Gancao (Licorice Radix et Rhizoma) (0.75 qian).
Combine the above ingredients as one dose. Add two zhong of water, decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.
Treats all types of wind pathogen invasion in men and women, causing pain in the limbs and joints, and generalized numbness. For sudden onset of hemiplegia or paralysis of hands and feet, and speech difficulties, frequently take this medicine to unblock the Qi mechanism, then prescribe wind-dispelling formulas according to specific syndrome differentiation.
Wuyao (Linderae Radix), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) (each 2 qian), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba) (remove root and nodes), Baijiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus) (bran-fried), Gancao (Licorice Radix et Rhizoma).
Combine the above ingredients as one dose. Add two zhong of water, three slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), and one Hongzao (Jujubae Fructus). Decoct until one zhong remains. Take well after meals.
Treats stroke caused by wind pathogen invading the five zang organs, leading to delirious speech, mental confusion, numbness of hands and feet, and excessive phlegm-saliva accumulation.
Baixianpi (Dictamni Cortex), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (remove radicle), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) (remove skin and tip, bran-fried), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba) (remove root and nodes), Gancao (Licorice Radix et Rhizoma).
Combine the above ingredients as one dose. Add two zhong of water and three slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens). Decoct until one zhong remains. Take warm at any time.
Treats acute sudden stroke characterized by lockjaw with inability to speak, deviation of mouth and eyes, tendon and vessel spasm and convulsions, pain, excess wind and phlegm, dizziness and fullness in head and eyes, left-sided paralysis and right-sided hemiplegia, numbness of hands and feet, severe joint pain, mental restlessness, and deep unconsciousness. Suitable for all wind syndromes.
Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) (remove radicle), Tian Nanxing (Arisaematis Rhizoma) (each 3 qian), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) (washed with boiling water), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (each 2 qian), Gancao (Licorice Radix et Rhizoma) (1 qian).
Combine the above ingredients as one dose. Add two zhong of water and five slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens). Decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.
Treats stroke with excessive phlegm-saliva accumulation, hemiplegia, migratory joint pain (li jie tong feng), and tendon and vessel stiffness.
