共为细末。鹿角胶为丸，桐子大。每日子时酒下百丸，如神。
公老鼠一个，剥去皮埋地下，数日肉烂，收骨焙干。
又用∶白芷三钱 川芎 地骨皮 桑皮 川椒 蒲公英 旱莲草 青盐 川槿皮各三钱
麝一钱
共为末。每日搽牙，其牙自生。（又方∶以香附一两，易麝一钱）
川苍耳三十个 川椒三十粒 小黑豆三十粒
上腊陈醋一碗，煎至半碗，常温常漱即止。

楝子根内皮各三钱，捣烂，煎水一碗，温噙三次。

共为末。早晨搽牙，津液咽下，自然固齿乌须。
[Shenxian Shengya Dan (Immortal Tooth-Growing Pill)]
Take four liang of rat bone (soaked in human milk for one day, dried in the shade, and ground into powder); eight liang of Bi Zi Ren (Bai Zi Ren [Biota Seed], defatted); eight liang of Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berry); eight liang of Shao Zhuang Xue Yu (Scorched Hair from young adults, washed with soap pod water, calcined in a jar to ash); eight liang of Shan Zhu Yu (Cornus Fruit, steamed with wine); four liang of Yuan Zhi (Polygala Root, soaked in licorice water, core removed); four liang of Shi Chang Pu (Acorus Rhizome); eight liang of Lu Jiao Shuang (Deer Antler Frost); four liang of Ling Sha (Cinnabar prepared with human milk).
Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Use Deer Antler Gelatin (Lu Jiao Jiao) as a binder to form pills, sized like tung tree seeds. Take 100 pills with wine at Zi hour (11:00 PM–1:00 AM) daily; the effect is miraculous.
[Guchi Mingmu San (Teeth-Strengthening and Eyesight-Improving Powder) - Tooth Regeneration Formula]
Take one male rat, skin it, and bury it underground. After several days when the flesh rots, collect the bones and bake them dry.
Additionally use: three qian of Bai Zhi (Angelica Dahurica), Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum Rhizome), Di Gu Pi (Cortex Lycii), Sang Bai Pi (Morus Bark), Chuan Jiao (Sichuan Pepper), Pu Gong Ying (Dandelion), Han Lian Cao (Eclipta Herb), Qing Yan (Halite), and Chuan Jin Pi (Hibiscus Tiliaceus Bark), each three qian; one qian of She Xiang (Musk).
Grind all ingredients into powder. Apply to teeth daily; teeth will naturally grow. (Alternative formula: replace one qian of Musk with one liang of Xiang Fu [Cyperi Rhizome]).
[Mouthwash Formula]
Take thirty Chen Er (Xanthium Fruit), thirty grains of Chuan Jiao (Sichuan Pepper), and thirty small black soybeans.
Add one bowl of aged vinegar from the twelfth lunar month, decoct until half remains. Rinse mouth at room temperature frequently until symptoms cease.
[Holding Decoction Formula]
Take three qian each of Sang Gen Nei Pi (Mulberry Root Bark inner layer), Huai Gen Nei Pi (Locust Tree Root Bark inner layer), Liu Gen Nei Pi (Willow Root Bark inner layer), Yu Gen Nei Pi (Elm Root Bark inner layer), Chu Gen Nei Pi (Cudrania Root Bark inner layer, commonly known as Gou Shu), Jiao Gen Nei Pi (Zanthoxylum Root Bark inner layer), and Ku Lian Zi Gen Nei Pi (Chinaberry Root Bark inner layer), each three qian. Pound until mashed, decoct in water to yield one bowl. Hold the warm liquid in the mouth three times.
[Treatment for Dental Fistula/Drainage]
Take four fen of Nao Bing Pian (Borneol) and one qian of Qing Yin Huo Xiao (Saltpeter).
Grind into powder and apply to the affected area.
(This formula is named for treating "Ya Xie" [Dental Drainage]. Another method: decoct Jue Ming Zi [Cassia Seed] in water and hold in mouth to stop drainage.)
[Stop Jaw Pain Formula]
Lightly stir-fry Huai Hua (Sophora Flower), grind into powder. Dip finger in powder and apply to the jaw joint area; continue until pain stops.
[Tooth Rubbing Formula]
Take five fen of Hu Huang Lian (Picrorhiza Rhizome), five li of Dan Fan (Alum), and five li of Er Cha (Camelia Leaf Tea Catechu).
Grind into powder and apply to teeth.
[Tooth Regeneration Rubbing Formula]
Grind Rat Spine Bone into powder. Rub daily; teeth will grow out.
[Teeth-Strengthening and Beard-Darkening Formula]
Take three liang of Sheng Di Huang (Rehmannia Root), two liang of Bai Ji Li (Tribulus Fruit, stir-fried and thorns removed), four liang of Xiang Fu (Cyperi Rhizome, stir-fried), one tael and five qian of Qing Yan (Halite), four large Mei Shi Zi (Phyllanthus Emblica fruits), and two liang of Po Gu Zhi (Cistanche or Psoralea Seed, stir-fried).
Grind into powder. Apply to teeth in the morning, swallowing saliva naturally; this will strengthen teeth and darken beard hair.
[Eye-Washing and Teeth-Strengthening Formula]
Take Huai and Liu branches and leaves in any quantity, cut into pieces, and soak in water for three days. Decoct to obtain thick juice, remove leaf residue, add two liang of Qing Yan (Halite) and two liang of Bai Yan (Rock Salt), and boil together until dry. Grind into powder. Apply to teeth and rinse mouth; use remaining dregs to wash eyes.
