Treats all types of pain caused by Tou Feng (Head Wind).
Xiangbaizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) in any quantity, processed into pills with honey, sized like tung tree seeds. Take one pill per dose, administered with Jingjie Decoction (Schizonepetae Herba Decoction). Continuous intake of three pills will result in a cure.

Quandanggui (Complete root) (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) 5 qian Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma) 5 qian
Decoct in water and take orally.

Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma) 1 qian Cha Ye (Tea Leaves) 1 qian
Decoct in water and take orally.

Fresh natural juice of Luobo (Raphani Fructus), mixed with a small amount of Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum). Tilt the head back and instill into the nostrils; if pain is on the left, instill into the left nostril, and vice versa. Relief occurs after a short time.
Another prescription
Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (leaves removed) 1 qian Xionghuang (Realgar) 3 fen
Grind into powder. For left-sided pain, insufflate into the left nostril; for right-sided pain, insufflate into the right nostril. A cure follows immediately.

Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata) (wine-fried) 3 qian Baifuling (Poria) 1 qian Shanyuzhu (Corni Fructus) 1 qian Shanyao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma) (stir-fried) 1.5 qian Danpi (Moutan Cortex) 1.5 qian Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma) 1 qian Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma) 1 qian Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex) (wine-fried until black) 1 qian
Decoct in water and take orally.

Apply raw Goose Oil (Eryngii Oleum) to the head. Wash old shoe soles thoroughly, heat them over fire, and rub them against the affected area. Rub off all white scales. Repeat continuously several times; do not aim for complete removal.
Another prescription
Mash large eels and apply the paste to the affected area. A cure follows.

Take one large red date, remove the pit, fill it with Pishuang (Arsenic Trioxide) until full, tie tightly, and char over charcoal fire to preserve its medicinal property. First, wash the affected area with rice washing water. Then, take the charred residue, grind it into powder, and apply topically.
Another prescription
Stir-fry raw soybeans until yellow, grind into powder, mix with sesame oil, and rub onto the affected area. A cure follows after several applications.

Treats Shang Feng (Wind-Cold Invasion) causing dizziness and pain in the head and eyes, nasal congestion, and heavy voice.

Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma) 4 liang Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix) 2 liang Sheng Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Recens) 2 liang Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) 1 liang Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) 1.5 liang Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica) 4 liang
Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, long after meals, taken with tea as a vehicle.

Treats dizziness of the head and eyes, nausea, restlessness, shortness of breath, upper asthma/wheezing, mental confusion, desire to vomit, inability to open the eyes, sensation of being amidst wind and clouds, headache feeling like splitting, and body heaviness like carrying a mountain.
