The path of female true cultivation is originally very different from the practice of men (the way for men values preserving Jing [essence], while the way for women values refining the Xing [form]). The medicinal substances are for the previous stage of practice, explained one by one. If one can practice them diligently morning and evening, advancing with sincere devotion, causing the blood of the five Zang organs within the body to return and transform into Qi, it will naturally generate. When True Qi secretly arises, transforming the Yin-turbid body into a Pure Yang state, only when this level of skill is reached can one employ Huo [Fire] and Fu [Talismans], thereby becoming equal to men. If categories are not distinguished, how can the practice be effective? Therefore, men first refine Yao [medicinal substances/energy], then refine Xing [form]; women first refine Xing [form], then refine Yao [medicinal substances/energy]. Because their physical constitutions differ, the sequence of practices varies. I now establish laws to teach people; without clear indication, learners would fail to uphold the Dao.

Women should follow the preceding mantras, practicing with focused intent. When the practice reaches the Dantian [Elixir Field] and Xuehai [Sea of Blood], and the Qi mechanism becomes warm, naturally a strand of Clear Qi will rush upward to the Xin She [Heart Palace], reaching up to both breasts. At this moment, one must absolutely avoid stirring thoughts, continuing the practice as before; it will naturally descend again, returning to the Xuehai [Sea of Blood]. At this time, the Qi mechanism has moved, and True Qi has arisen; the Yin of red blood transforms into the Yang of white Qi. If Huo [Fire] and Fu [Talismans] are not used to refine it, the Qi will still transform back into red blood, and the white will revert to red, wasting effort in vain. Upon reaching this stage, one must use True Fire to refine it, and apply True Talismans to correspond. When the Talisman arrives and Fire is sufficient, the Qi will surely condense. During this condensation, there are other phenomena; if not explained clearly, improper use of Fire or errors in Talismans will inevitably damage the Dan Yuan [Elixir Origin]. Reaching this point in cultivation requires careful memorization, lest one forget. If the practice at this moment is erroneous, not only will previous efforts be wasted and future practice difficult, but it may also harm life and health, risking hemorrhage [blood collapse], which is ultimately hard to treat. Learners must remember this clearly.

However, the phenomena are so similar. When this Qi returns to the Xuehai [Sea of Blood], although this Qi is formed from blood, it is no longer blood; thus, the Xuehai [Sea of Blood] does not resonate. It is like a person returning home after changing appearance; even family members cannot recognize him, let alone interact as before. Since blood has transformed into Qi, it is unlike blood and remains incompatible. Therefore, when descending into the Xuehai [Sea of Blood], the sensation is like fish absorbing water. At this time, the four limbs feel intoxicated, the body feels unable to contain itself, resembling the union of husband and wife, uncontrollable. At this stage, one must firmly grasp the master consciousness, strictly avoiding indulgence. With a single thought condensed and guarding the Zhonggong [Central Palace], staying gathered for a long time, it will naturally rush upward through the passes, ascending to the Niwan [Mud Pillar/Glabella region], transforming into Yu Ye [Jade Fluid]. Using intent to guide it down through Chonglou [Throat/Jade Tower], stopping between the two breasts; using the method of condensing Qi to mix it, making it gather without scattering. Practicing this for a long time will naturally lead to returning to the Root and restoring the Primordial, achieving Tai Xi [Embryonic Breathing]. Once Tai Xi [Embryonic Breathing] is opened, the Immortal Path can arrive in days. Those cultivating female purity should encourage each other.
