枳壳（四个） 浓朴 薤白（各一两） 栝蒌（一个） 桂枝（一两。有热除此一味）
上 咀，水七升，煎取四升，去滓温服。
凉心肺，解劳除热，使荣卫顺，血不绝。子芩散。
黄 （一两） 白芍药 子芩 人参 白茯苓 麦门冬 苦梗 生干地黄（各半两）
上为粗末，先用竹叶一握，小麦七十粒，水三盏，姜三片，煎至水一盏半，入药末三钱
重，煎至七分，去滓温服。
治积气坚硬作气噎，胸胁引背痛方。
白芍药（一两半） 鳖甲（醋炙） 枳壳（去穣，麸炒） 北柴胡（各一两） 甘草 赤
茯苓（各半两）
上 咀，每服三钱。水一大盏，姜三片，枣一个，煎至七分，去滓温服。
治伏连、传注，腹中有坚硬积气壅心胸，作痹痛，引胁背痛，脘痛，脘膈满闷方。
鬼臼 天门冬（去心，各三分） 巴豆（一分，去皮心，炒） 莽草 不蛀皂角（酥炙，
各半两） 叶子雄黄（一两）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸如小豆大。每服一丸，渐加至二、三丸，空心，汤水吞下。临卧一
服，常宜斟酌，勿令泄泻。忌鲤鱼、山猪、芦笋。
出声音方
诃子（炮，去核） 木通（各一两） 甘草（半两）
上 咀，用水三升，煎至升半，入生地黄汁一合，再煎数沸，放温，分六服，食后，日
作半料。
治咽喉痛方
百药煎（去黑皮） 硼砂 甘草 生白矾（等分）
上四味为细末，每服一钱。食后米饮调，细细呷咽。
治肺间邪气，胸中积血作痛，失音，含化丸方。
Fructus Aurantii (Zhike, 枳壳) (four pieces), Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Noupu, 浓朴), Rhizoma Allii Macrostemonis (Xiebai, 薤白) (each 1 liang), Fructus Trichosanthis (Gualou, 栝蒌) (one piece), Ramulus Cinnamomi (Guizhi, 桂枝) (1 liang. Omit this herb if there is heat).
The above herbs are chopped, boiled in seven sheng of water until four sheng remain, the dregs are removed, and the liquid is taken warm.
This formula cools the Heart and Lungs, relieves fatigue and clears heat, ensures the smooth flow of Ying (Nutritive Qi) and Wei (Defensive Qi), and maintains uninterrupted blood circulation. This is Ziqin San.
Radix Scutellariae (Huangqin, 黄芩) (1 liang), Radix Paeoniae Alba (Baishao Yao, 白芍药), Radix Scutellariae (Ziqin, 子芩), Radix Ginseng (Renshen, 人参), Poria (Baifuling, 白茯苓), Bulbus Ophiopogonis (Maimendong, 麦门冬), Radix Platycodonis (Kugeng, 苦梗), Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Shenggan Dihuang, 生干地黄) (each 0.5 liang).
The above herbs are crushed into coarse powder. First, decoct a handful of leaves of Bambusa (Zhuye, 竹叶), seventy grains of Triticum aestivum (Xiaomai, 小麦), three zhan of water, and three slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma (Jiang, 姜) until one and a half zhan of water remains. Add three qian weight of the herbal powder, continue decocting until three-tenths remain, remove the dregs, and take warm.
This formula treats Qi obstruction due to accumulated hard masses, characterized by chest and hypochondriac pain radiating to the back.
Radix Paeoniae Alba (Baishao Yao, 白芍药) (1.5 liang), Carapax et Plastrum Testudinis (Biejia, 鳖甲) (processed with vinegar), Fructus Aurantii (Zhike, 枳壳) (pulp removed, stir-fried with bran), Radix Bupleuri (Beichaihu, 北柴胡) (each 1 liang), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草), Poria (Chifuling, 赤茯苓) (each 0.5 liang).
The above herbs are chopped. Each dose consists of three qian. Decoct with one da zhan of water, three slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma (Jiang, 姜), and one Jujubae Fructus (Zao, 枣) until three-tenths remain. Remove the dregs and take warm.
This formula treats Fulian disease and Chuanzhu disease, where hard accumulated Qi obstructs the chest and heart, causing Bi pain, radiating to the hypochondrium and back, epigastric pain, and fullness/stuffiness in the epigastrium and diaphragm.
Rhizoma Typhonii (Guijiu, 鬼臼), Radix Asparagi (Tianmendong, 天门冬) (heart removed, each 3 fen), Semen Crotoni (Badou, 巴豆) (1 fen, skin and heart removed, stir-fried), Herba Siegesbeckiae (Mangcao, 莽草), Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis (Bu Zhu Saoke, 不蛀皂角) (roasted with butter, each 0.5 liang), Realgar (Yezi Xionghuang, 叶子雄黄) (1 liang).
The above herbs are ground into fine powder and formed into pills the size of small beans using refined honey. Take one pill per dose, gradually increasing to two or three pills. Swallow with warm water on an empty stomach. Take once before bed. Adjust dosage as appropriate; do not cause diarrhea. Avoid carp, wild boar, and Asparagus cochinchinensis (Lusun, 芦笋).
Formula for restoring voice.
Fructus Terminaliae Chebulae (Hezi, 诃子) (roasted, pitted), Caulis Akebiae (Mutong, 木通) (each 1 liang), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草) (0.5 liang).
The above herbs are chopped. Decoct in three sheng of water until half a sheng remains. Add one he of juice from Radix Rehmanniae Recens (Shengdihuang, 生地黄), boil briefly, let cool to warm, divide into six doses. Take after meals. Prepare half the amount daily.
Formula for treating sore throat.
Fermented Medicinal Powder (Baiyaojian, 百药煎), Borax (Pengsha, 硼砂), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草), Alumen (Sheng Baifan, 生白矾) (equal parts).
Grind the above four ingredients into fine powder. Take one qian per dose. Mix with rice drink after meals and swallow slowly.
Formula for treating evil Qi in the Lungs, pain from accumulated blood in the chest, and loss of voice, administered as a lozenge pill.
