疗产后痢，日五十行者方。
取木里蠹虫粪，炒令黄，急以水沃之，稀稠得所，服之瘥止。独孤祭酒讷方。
疗产后虚羸，下痢脓血，腹痛。

上 咀，水七升，煮取二升，分为三服。忌猪、鹿肉。
治产后下痢不禁止，因之气欲绝，无问赤白，水谷不分。

治产后羸困，赤白痢疾，心腹绞痛。

青木香（三分） 诃子（酥炙黄，去核，八分）
上为细末，空心，米饮调下方寸匕。一方有缩砂仁。三味等分为细末，入蜜一匙，米饮
调下二钱。
疗产后水痢。
枳壳（四分） 浓朴 茯苓 黄连（各六分） 当归（三分）
上水一升，煮取八合，空心，分为三服。
疗产后水痢。
黄连（六分） 乌梅（五分） 石榴皮 赤石脂 当归（各四分） 干姜（三分）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸如梧桐子大，空心，米饮下三十丸。
疗产后血痢。
艾叶（三分） 阿胶（十分） 黄连（七分） 芍药 黄柏 甘草（各六分）
上为细末，粥饮调下方寸匕。
疗产后下痢脓血相杂。

The *Qianjin Fang* (Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) treats residual cold after childbirth, presenting as dysentery with passage of pus and blood in the stool, mixed red and white colors, occurring dozens of times a day, accompanied by abdominal pain and frequent bleeding. Use Guizhi Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction).
Guixin (Cinnamon Heart), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger), Gancao (Licorice Root) (each 2 liang), Chishizhi (Halloysitum Rubrum) (10 liang), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis), Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Lateral Root) (1 liang, processed), Honey (2 sheng).
Finely cut the above herbs, decoct in 7 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng. Add honey and boil for one or two more boils. Strain the dregs. Take 1 sheng per dose, three times daily.
Formula for treating postpartum dysentery with fifty bowel movements per day.
Take the feces of wood-boring insects from inside timber, stir-fry until yellow, then immediately pour water over it. Adjust the consistency appropriately. Ingest until the disease resolves. This is the formula of Dugu Na, Jijiu (Ritual Musician).
Treating postpartum emaciation and weakness, with dysentery of pus and blood, and abdominal pain.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome), Shaoyao (Peony Root), Gancao (Licorice Root), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) (each 8 liang), Aiye (Mugwort Leaf) (3 fen).
Crush the herbs, decoct in 7 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng. Divide into three doses. Avoid pork and deer meat.
Treating postpartum uncontrollable dysentery, leading to impending collapse of vital qi, regardless of whether red or white dysentery, with inability to distinguish between water and grain in the stool.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome), Houpo (Magnolia Bark) (each 3 liang), Shaoyao (Peony Root), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark) (each 2 liang).
Decoct in 6 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng. Divide into two warm doses.
Treating postpartum frailty and exhaustion, with red and white dysentery, and severe colic in the heart and abdomen.
Xiebai (Allium Macrostemon Bulb), Shiliupi (Pomegranate Peel), Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome) (each 3 fen), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis) (2 liang), Diyü (Sanguisorba Root) (3 fen).
Decoct in 7 sheng of water until reduced to 2.5 sheng. Divide into three doses.
Formula for treating persistent postpartum Qi-type dysentery.
Qingmuxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) (3 fen), Hezi (Chebulia Fruit) (roasted with butter until yellow, pitted, 8 fen).
Grind into fine powder. On an empty stomach, take one fangcun bi (a square-inch measure) mixed with rice drink. Another version includes Suasharen (Amomi Fructus Rotundus). Mix three ingredients equally into fine powder, add one spoonful of honey, and take two qian mixed with rice drink.
Treating postpartum watery diarrhea.
Zhiqiao (Aurantii Fructus), Houpo (Magnolia Bark), Fuling (Poria), Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome) (each 6 fen), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis) (3 fen).
Decoct in 1 sheng of water until reduced to 8 he. On an empty stomach, divide into three doses.
Treating postpartum watery diarrhea.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome) (6 fen), Wumei (Mume Fruit) (5 fen), Shiliupi (Pomegranate Peel), Chishizhi (Halloysitum Rubrum), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis) (each 4 fen), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger) (3 fen).
Grind into fine powder. Make pills using refined honey, sized like paulownia seeds. On an empty stomach, take 30 pills with rice drink.
Treating postpartum bloody dysentery.
Aiye (Mugwort Leaf) (3 fen), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin) (10 fen), Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome) (7 fen), Shaoyao (Peony Root), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark), Gancao (Licorice Root) (each 6 fen).
Grind into fine powder. Take one fangcun bi mixed with porridge drink.
Treating postpartum dysentery with mixed pus and blood.
Chishizhi (Halloysitum Rubrum), Wuse Longgu (Five-colored Dragon Bone), Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome) (each 10 fen), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome) (5 fen), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin), Huangqi (Astragalus Root) (each 6 fen), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark) (4 fen).
Grind into fine powder. Take one fangcun bi mixed with water.
