附子（半两，炮） 牡丹皮（一两） 干漆（一分，碎之，炒令烟尽）
上为细末，以酽醋一升，大黄末一两，同熬成膏，和药丸如梧桐子大。温酒吞五、七丸
，不拘时。
治胎衣不出，脐腹坚胀急痛即杀人，服此药胞即烂，下死胎。
牛膝 瞿麦（各四两） 当归（三两） 通草（六两） 滑石（八两） 葵子（五两）
上细切，以水九升，煮取三升，分三服。若衣不下，腹满即杀人。推其源，皆是胞衣有
血奔心，是以不出也。或坐婆生疏，断带收儿，其衣失于系住，则带缩入腹中，便不得出。
宜服此药，衣即烂出也。（《广济》、《集验》、《千金》、崔氏同）
治产后气欲绝，缘败血不尽，血迷、血晕，恶血奔心，胎死腹中，胎衣不下至死者。但
心头暖，急以童子小便调一钱，取下恶物如猪肝，终身无血风、血气疾。膈上有血，化为黄
水即吐出，或小便中出也。若先下胎衣，则泛泛之药不能达；若先治血闷，则寻常之药无此
功、无如此药有两全之效也。
花蕊石（一斤） 上色硫黄（四两）
上二味相拌令均，先用纸和胶泥固瓦罐子一个，内可容药。候泥干入药在内，密泥封口
了，焙笼内焙令透热，便安在四方砖上；（砖上书八卦五行字）用炭一秤，笼叠周匝，自巳
、午时从下生火，令渐渐上彻，有坠下火，放夹火上，直至经宿、火冷炭消尽；又放经宿，
罐冷定，取出细研，以绢罗至细，瓷合内盛，根据法用之。（此药便是疗金疮花蕊石散。寻常
人自宜时时收蓄，以防急难。至妙）
有一亲戚妇人，产后胞衣不下，血胀迷闷，不记人事。告之曰死矣！仆曰∶某收得赵大
观文局中真花蕊石散在笥中，谩以一帖赠之，以童便调，灌药下即苏，衣与恶物旋即随下，
乘兴无恙。
Fuzi (Prepared Aconiti Lateralis Radix, half tael), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex, one tael), Ganxi (Dried Resin of Toxicodendron, one fen, crushed and stir-fried until smoke ceases)
The above are ground into a fine powder. With one sheng of strong vinegar and one tael of Dahuang powder, boil together to form a paste. Mix with the medicine powder to make pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Swallow five or seven pills with warm wine, at any time.
Treats retained placenta. If the umbilical region is hard, distended, and painfully tight, it can be fatal. After taking this medicine, the placenta will rot and the dead fetus will be expelled.
Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Qumai (Herba Siegesbeckiae) (each four taels), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, three taels), Tongcao (Tetrapanacis Medulla, six taels), Huashi (Talcum, eight taels), Kuizi (Fructus Abutilonis, five taels)
The above are finely cut. Boil in nine sheng of water to obtain three sheng of decoction. Divide into three doses. If the placenta is not expelled and the abdomen becomes full, it can be fatal. Investigating the source, all cases are due to blood rushing to the heart from the placenta, causing it not to be expelled. Or, if the midwife is careless, cutting the umbilical cord to retrieve the infant, the placenta loses its attachment and retracts into the abdomen, making expulsion impossible. It is suitable to take this medicine, and the placenta will rot and be expelled. (Same as recorded in *Guangji Fang*, *Jiyan Fang*, *Qianjin Fang*, and Cui Shi)
Treats postpartum qi about to fail, due to incomplete expulsion of lochia, leading to blood confusion, blood syncope, evil blood rushing to the heart, fetal death in utero, retained placenta up to death. As long as the heart area remains warm, urgently mix one qian of powder with child's urine to administer. This will expel evil matter resembling pig liver, preventing wind-blood and qi-blood diseases for life. If there is blood above the diaphragm, it transforms into yellow fluid and is vomited out, or discharged through urination. If the placenta is treated first, ordinary medicines cannot reach the target; if blood stagnation is treated first, common medicines lack this efficacy. This medicine has the dual effect of achieving both goals.
Huairushi (Pyritum), Shangse Liuhuang (Sulfur, four taels)
Mix the two ingredients evenly. First, fix a clay jar with paper and glue mud, ensuring it can hold the medicine. After the mud dries, place the medicine inside, seal tightly with mud, and roast thoroughly in a drying cage. Place on a square brick inscribed with Eight Trigrams and Five Elements characters. Use one picul of charcoal, stacked around the jar. Start fire from below during Si and Wu hours, allowing heat to penetrate gradually upward. Any falling sparks should be extinguished on a clamp fire. Continue until overnight, when the fire cools and charcoal is consumed. Leave for another night until the jar is cool. Take out, grind finely, sieve through silk cloth to extreme fineness, store in a porcelain container, and use according to method. (This medicine is the Huairushi San used for treating metal wounds. Ordinary people should keep it on hand for emergencies. It is extremely effective.)
A relative woman suffered from retained placenta after childbirth, with blood distension and coma, losing consciousness. I told her she was dead! The servant said: I have authentic Huairushi San from Zhao Daguanwen Bureau stored in my box. I casually gave her one dose, mixed with child's urine. After administering, she revived immediately, and the placenta and evil matter were subsequently expelled. She returned home safely in high spirits.
