小儿诸血溢者。由热乘于血气也。血得热则流溢。随气而上。从鼻出者为鼽衄。从口出者多则为吐血。少则
为唾血。若流溢渗入大肠而下者。则为便血。渗入小肠而下者。为溺血。又有血从耳目牙缝龈舌诸窍等出者。是
血随经络虚处着溢。自皮孔中出也。今叙方于后。
治衄溢方
盆硝（一分研） 乱发（一分烧灰研） 红蓝花（一分为末）
上同匀细。以绵缠子 药。塞鼻孔中。
槐花散
治如前。
槐花（一两炒） 蒲黄（半两） 川面姜（一分）
上为细末。每服半钱。新水调下。无时。
又方 治如前。以滑石为细末。饭丸萝卜子大。每服二三十丸，微微嚼破。新水咽下。未能嚼者。捶碎与
之。
又方 治如前。以生萝卜锉碎。研取汁。入酒相当。量大小温服。立止。
华盖散
治唾血吐血。
阿胶（半两蛤粉炒如珠子去蛤粉） 黄芩（一分） 人参（去芦一分）
上为细末。每服半钱。陈米饮调下。无时。
紫参散
治如前。
紫参 山栀子仁 生干地黄（各一两） 荆芥（烧灰） 乱发（烧灰） 蒲黄 伏龙肝（研各一分）
上拌细匀。每服半钱。或一钱。煎竹茹汤调下。无时。
黄连散
治吐血。以黄连一两。去须为细末。每服一钱。水七分。入豉二十粒。同煎至五分。去滓温服。无时。
又方 治如前。以蒲黄细研。每服半钱。用生地黄汁调下。无时。
又方 治如前。以蛇蜕皮炒焦黄为末。乳汁调下。
又方 治如前。以黄明胶新绵各一两。并烧灰研为细末。每服半钱或一钱。糯米饮调下。日三。
又方 治如前。以灯心净碗内烧灰。以物盖之。研为末。每服半钱或一钱，麝香汤调下。
甑带灰
治大便下血。以甑带烧灰研末。涂乳下。与儿吮之。南人以蒲为甑带。久经蒸溜。或败烂者良。
又方 治如前。以车 烧赤纳水中。饮服。
又方 治如前。取雌鸡翅下血与服。或以鳖头一枚。炙黄黑为末。米饮调半钱服。
车前散
治小儿尿血。

又方 治如前。以甘草二两。炙黄为细末。炼蜜和丸绿豆大。每服五七丸。温水下。日二。或生锉。以水六

神白散
治诸吐衄便溺等。血妄行。槐花半两微炒。蛤粉一两。为细末。每服半钱或一钱。煎柳枝汤调下。
青龙丹
治小儿热盛。一切血妄行。神效。

上为细末。面糊和丸樱桃大。别研青黛为衣。

地黄散
治舌上出血如针孔。生熟地黄一两。明胶半两炒。为末，温汤调下一二钱。
又方 治如前。以豉一合。水一盏。煎数沸。温服半盏。或一盏。亦治下血。
又方 治如前。以小豆一合为末。水三盏。和搅汁饮之。
戎盐丸
治舌上有黑孔。血出如涌泉。
戎盐 黄芩 黄柏 大黄（各二两半） 人参 桂心（各一两） 甘草（半两炙）
上为细末。炼蜜和丸绿豆大。饮下五七丸。日三。如舌上孔穴大。血不止者。仍烧铁烙之。
苦竹叶汁 治牙齿龈缝间出血不止。以苦竹叶不拘多少。水煎浓汁。入盐少许。通口漱盥。
又方 治如前。以童子小便半盏暖热。通口漱盥。
法
治九窍四肢指岐间皆出血。此暴惊所致。勿令患人知觉。以井花水猛 其面。
治小儿尿血 以鹊巢烧灰。井花水调服。 以川升麻五分。水五合。煎取一合。去滓。一岁儿日服尽。
Various types of bleeding in infants and children are caused by heat pathogen invading the blood and qi. When blood encounters heat, it flows and overflows, moving upward with the qi. Bleeding from the nasal cavity is known as epistaxis (nosebleed); profuse bleeding from the mouth is hematemesis (vomiting blood), while scanty bleeding is spitting blood. If blood overflows and seeps into the large intestine to be excreted downward, it is melena (blood in stool); if it seeps into the small intestine to be excreted downward, it is hematuria (blood in urine). Additionally, blood may flow from orifices such as the ears, eyes, teeth gaps, gums, and tongue; this occurs when blood overflows along the meridians at sites of deficiency and exits through the skin pores. The following prescriptions are described:
Prescription for Epistaxis
Panshao (Mineral Salt, 1 fen, ground) Luangfa (Human Hair, 1 fen, burned to ash and ground) Honglanhua (Carthamus Flower, 1 fen, powdered)
Mix the above ingredients evenly and grind finely. Wrap the powder in cotton wadding and insert it into the nostril.
Huaihua San (Sophora Flower Powder)
Indicated for the condition described above.
Huaihua (Sophorae Flos, 1 liang, stir-fried) Puhuang (Typhae Pollen, 0.5 liang) Chuanmianjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum, 1 fen)
Grind the above into a fine powder. Take 0.5 qian each time, mixed with fresh water, at any time.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Use Huashi (Talcum, powdered finely) to make pills the size of radish seeds. Take 20-30 pills each time, chew slightly and swallow with fresh water. For those unable to chew, crush them before administration.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Take fresh Radish, chop finely, grind to extract juice, add an appropriate amount of wine, and administer warm according to the child's age. It stops bleeding immediately.
Huagai San (Covered Canopy Powder)
Indicated for spitting blood and hematemesis.
Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin, 0.5 liang, stir-fried with Ge Fen [Clam Shell Powder] until bead-like, remove Ge Fen) Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, 1 fen) Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, 1 fen, rhizome removed)
Grind the above into a fine powder. Take 0.5 qian each time, mixed with aged rice decoction, at any time.
Zishen San (Bupleuri Powder)
Indicated for the condition described above.
Zishen (Bupleuri Radix) Shanzhizi Ren (Gardeniae Semen, processed) Shengshengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Recens, dried) (each 1 liang) Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba, burned to ash) Luangfa (Human Hair, burned to ash) Puhuang (Typhae Pollen) Fulonggan (Dragon's Liver, ground) (each 1 fen)
Mix and grind finely. Take 0.5 qian or 1 qian each time, mixed with Zhu Ru (Bambusae Caulis in Taenia) decoction, at any time.
Huanglian San (Coptis Powder)
Indicated for hematemesis. Use Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 1 liang), remove roots, and grind finely. Take 1 qian each time, add 7 parts water and 20 grains of Chi (Fermented Soybean), decoct together until 5 parts remain, filter dregs, and take warm, at any time.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Use finely ground Puhuang (Typhae Pollen). Take 0.5 qian each time, mixed with Sheng Dihuang Zhi (Juice of Rehmanniae Radix Recens), at any time.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Use Shed Snake Skin (She Tui), stir-fry until scorched yellow, grind to powder, and mix with milk for administration.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Use Huangming Jiao (Yellow Clear Gelatin) and Xin Mian (New Cotton Wool), each 1 liang, burn to ash, grind finely. Take 0.5 qian or 1 qian each time, mixed with Nuomi Yin (Rice Decoction), three times daily.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Burn Dengxin (Junci Medulla) in a clean bowl to ash, cover with an object, grind to powder. Take 0.5 qian or 1 qian each time, mixed with She Xiang Tang (Musk Decoction).
Zengdai Hui (Steamer Strap Ash)
Indicated for melena. Burn the steamer strap to ash, grind to powder, apply to the nipple, and allow the infant to suck. In the south, people use cattail straps for steamers; those that have undergone long-term steaming/distillation or are decayed are considered superior.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Burn Che Qian Cao (Plantaginis Herba) red-hot, immerse in water, and drink the water.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Administer blood from under the wings of a female chicken, or take one turtle head, roast until yellow-black, grind to powder, and take 0.5 qian mixed with rice drink.
Cheqian San (Plantago Seed Powder)
Indicated for pediatric hematuria.
Cheqian Zi (Plantaginis Semen, 1 fen) Muli (Ostreae Concha, 0.5 liang, made into powder) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 1 fen, honey-fried) Chuan Pu Xiao (Natrii Sulfas, 1 fen)
Grind the above into a fine powder. Take 1 qian each time, with a small cup of water, decoct until 0.5 part remains, filter dregs, and take warm.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Use Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 2 liang), fry until yellow, grind finely, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of mung beans. Take 5-7 pills each time with warm water, twice daily. Alternatively, cut raw, decoct with 6 he of water to obtain 2 he, filter dregs, and take.
Shenbai San (Divine White Powder)
Indicated for various abnormal bleedings such as hematemesis, epistaxis, melena, and hematuria. Stir-fry Huaihua (Sophorae Flos, 0.5 liang) lightly, mix with Ge Fen (Clam Shell Powder, 1 liang), grind finely. Take 0.5 qian or 1 qian each time, mixed with Liuzhi Tang (Willow Branch Decoction).
Qinglong Dan (Green Dragon Pill)
Indicated for excessive heat in children causing all types of abnormal bleeding; highly effective.
Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) Guanzhong (Cyathulae Radix) Fuling (Poria) Gange (Puerariae Radix) Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) Bohe Ye (Menthae Haplocalycis Folium) Huoxiang (Agastaches Herba) (each 1 liang) Suosha (Amomi Fructus Rotundus, 5 liang, peel removed) Shanyinchene Ye (Artemisiae Scopariae Folium) Hanshuishi (Aqua Calcitae, each 6 liang)
Grind the above into a fine powder, mix with wheat paste to make pills the size of cherries. Coat with Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis) separately ground.
Another Prescription Indicated for all types of abnormal bleeding flowing from ears, eyes, mouth, and nose. Burn Chi Ma Fen (Red Horse Manure) to ash, grind finely, mix with warm wine to take one zi or 0.5 qian, dosage adjusted by age.
Dihuang San (Rehmannia Powder)
Indicated for bleeding on the tongue resembling needle holes. Use Sheng Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Recens) and Shu Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata), each 1 liang, and Huangming Jiao (Yellow Clear Gelatin, 0.5 liang, stir-fried), grind to powder, mix with warm water to take 1-2 qian.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Use Chi (Fermented Soybean, 1 he), decoct with 1 cup of water for several boils, take warm half cup or one cup. Also indicated for melena.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Take Xiaodou (Adzuki Bean, 1 he), grind to powder, mix with 3 cups of water, stir well, and drink the juice.
Rongyan Wan (Rock Salt Pill)
Indicated for black holes on the tongue with blood gushing like a spring.
Rongyan (Halitum, 2.5 liang) Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, 2.5 liang) Huangbo (Phellodendri Cortex, 2.5 liang) Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 2.5 liang) Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang) Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus, 1 liang) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 0.5 liang, honey-fried)
Grind the above into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of mung beans. Take 5-7 pills with water, three times daily. If the hole on the tongue is large and bleeding does not stop, cauterize the area with a hot iron.
Kuzhuye Zhi (Bitter Bamboo Leaf Juice)
Indicated for continuous bleeding from tooth gum gaps. Take Kuzhuye (Bamboo Leaves, any amount), decoct strongly in water, add a little salt, and rinse the mouth thoroughly.
Another Prescription Indicated for the condition described above. Take Tongzi Xiaonian (Urine of a healthy boy, 0.5 cup), warm it, and rinse the mouth thoroughly.

Indicated for bleeding from all nine orifices and between fingers/toes of limbs, caused by sudden fright. Do not let the patient know. Splash Jinghua Shui (Well Water) forcefully onto the face.
Treatment for Pediatric Hematuria: Burn Quechao (Magpie Nest) to ash, mix with Jinghua Shui (Well Water) and take. Or use Chuan Shengma ( Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 5 fen), decoct with 5 he of water to obtain 1 he, filter dregs. A one-year-old infant should finish this dose in one day.
