治风热里实，口中气热，大小便闭赤，饮水不止，有下证者，宜服之。
大黄（一两，酒洗过，米下蒸熟，切片曝干） 川芎（一两锉） 甘草（一分锉炙） 黑牵牛

上为细末，稀糊和丸，如麻子大。二岁每服十丸，温蜜水下，乳后服，以溏利为度；未
利加丸数再服。量大小虚实用之。
凉心经，治惊热痰盛。

上同为细末，熬梨为膏，丸绿豆大。龙脑水化下一丸至三丸。亦名梨汁饼子。及治大人

天麻 木香 独活 防风（各一钱） 麝香（少许研细末和入）
上每服一钱匕，小者半钱，麦门冬熟水调下。
治肾疳硼砂候良方。
牛黄 大黄 生地黄 木香 青黛（各等分为末）
上每服一钱匕，熟水调服。
治肾疳溃槽候良方。
肉豆蔻（炮） 胡黄连 人参 杏仁（炒） 甘草（炙，各等分为末）
上每服一钱匕，小者半钱，温熟水调服。
For the treatment of interior excess syndrome due to wind-heat, characterized by hot breath from the mouth, constipation and dark red urine, incessant thirst, and indications for purgation, this formula is suitable.
Da Huang (Cortex Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang, washed with wine, steamed in rice water until cooked, sliced and dried) Chuan Xiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong, 1 liang, chopped) Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis, 1 fen, chopped and roasted) Hei Qian Niu (Semen Pharbitidis, 0.5 liang, half raw and half stir-fried)
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with thin starch paste to form pills the size of hemp seeds. For a two-year-old child, administer ten pills each time, taken with warm honey water after nursing. The dosage should be adjusted until loose stools occur; if defecation has not occurred, increase the number of pills and administer again. Use according to the age and constitution (deficiency or excess) of the patient.
To cool the Heart meridian and treat fright-heat with abundant phlegm.
Tian Xiao (Natrii Sulfas, white variety) Ren Shen (Radix Ginseng, remove the rhizome and tips) Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis, roasted and powdered) Han Shui Shi (Gypsum Fibrosum, calcined, 1 liang each) Gan Shan Yao (Rhizoma Dioscoreae Oppositae, white variety) Bai Fu Ling (Poria, 2 liang each) Zhu Sha (Cinnabaris, 1 liang) Long Nao (Borneolum Syntheticum) She Xiang (Moschus, 1 qian each; these three ingredients are ground together)
Grind the above ingredients into a powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a corn kernel. If a red color is desired, add 2 qian of Pi Zi Yan Zhi (坯子胭脂), which dyes it carmine-red. Dissolve half a pill to one or two pills in warm water, and take after meals.
Peng Sha (Borax, ground) Fen Shuang (Calomel, ground) Yu Li Ren (Semen Pruni Persicae, peeled, baked, and powdered) Qing Fen (Hydrargyri Chloridum Corrosivum) Tie Fen (Laminated Iron Powder, ground) Bai Qian Niu Mo (Semen Pharbitidis, powdered, 1 qian each) Hao La Cha (Good winter tea, 3 qian)
Grind all ingredients together into a fine powder. Boil pear juice to make a paste, and form pills the size of mung beans. Dissolve one to three pills in Borneolum Syntheticum water. Also known as Li Zhi Bing Zi (Pear Juice Pills). It is also used to treat wind-phlegm in adults, administered after meals. (Another version omits Bai Qian Niu Mo).
A good prescription for treating kidney gangrene with foul odor.
Tian Ma (Rhizoma Gastrodiae) Mu Xiang (Radix Aucklandiae) Du Huo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis) Fang Feng (Radix Saposhnikoviae, 1 qian each) She Xiang (Moschus, a small amount, ground finely and mixed in)
Take 1 qian bi (a spoonful measure) per dose; for smaller children, take half a qian bi. Mix with Ophiopogonis Decoction prepared with boiled water.
A good prescription for treating kidney gangrene with borax-like lesions.

Take 1 qian bi per dose. Mix with prepared boiled water.

Take 1 qian bi per dose; for smaller children, take half a qian bi. Mix with warm prepared boiled water.
