The *Qianjin Fang* (Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) treats the condition of having an object in the ear that cannot be removed.
Take a bowstring, spread it out from one end, apply good glue to a column, place it on top of the object in the ear to let it adhere, and then slowly pull it out.

The *Kong Shi Jia Zhuan* (Family Tradition of the Kong Family) treats the condition of a soap bean entering the nose or ear of a child.
Take one live Qu (fermented starter), crush it together with radish according to the amount needed, thread it onto a hemp coin string for three to five inches, slightly spread out at the cut end, apply a small amount of ointment on top, insert it into the nose or ear, and it will be extracted by adhesion.

The *Qianjin Fang* (Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) eliminates scar tissue.
Feed a black-bone chicken three jin (approx. 1.5 kg) of lard until it is consumed over three days. Then collect the white feces, add Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) and Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), each one liang (approx. 37 g), and decoct. When the color of Baizhi turns yellow, remove the dregs. Add Ying Shi Bai (Guano of Hawk) half a liang (approx. 18.5 g), stir to mix, and apply three times daily.

Another prescription from the *Qianjin Fang*.
Grind Yuyuliang (Hematitum) and Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) in equal parts into powder. Mix with egg yolk. First wipe the scar with new cloth until it becomes red, then apply the mixture. Avoid exposure to wind. Apply twice daily; cure within ten days. Even scars ten years old can be eliminated.

Another prescription from the *Qianjin Fang*.
Ying Shi Bai (Guano of Hawk) (one he) Xinyi (Magnoliae Flos) (one liang) Baifuzi (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix) Duruo (Costi Rhizoma) Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (each half liang).
Chop the above five herbs, soak in five he of wine overnight. Decoct with five liang of sheep marrow over low heat using the "three up, three down" method (heating and cooling cycles). Remove dregs and apply to minor scars three times daily.

The *Qianjin Fang* eliminates all scars regardless of whether they are new or old.
Mix Ren Jing (Human Semen) with Ying Shi Bai (Guano of Hawk) and apply. Apply twice daily. White honey (Bai Mi) may also be used.

The *Qianjin Fang* treats protruding scars.
In spring and summer, use bran from barley; in autumn and winter, use bran from wheat. Sift through fine silk cloth. Mix with su (clarified butter/ghee) and apply as a sealant/poultice.

Another prescription from the *Qianjin Fang*.
Ying Shi Bai (Guano of Hawk) (one liang) Yi Baiyu (White Fish found in clothes/linen) (fourteen pieces).
Grind the above two ingredients into powder, mix with honey, and apply. Three times daily is recommended; five applications yield good results.

Ying Shi Bai (Guano of Hawk) (two liang) Bai Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus) (one and a half liang).
Grind the above two ingredients into powder, mix with white honey, and apply. Three times daily. Avoid Wu Xin (five pungent spices) and raw vegetables.

Another prescription from the *Qianjin Fang*.
Use four sheng (approx. 0.8 L) of lard from the twelfth lunar month. Decoct one large rat until completely dissolved. Wipe the skin with raw cloth until red, then apply. Not more than four or five applications are needed.

The *Tan Shi Shu Sheng Fang* (Special Holy Prescriptions of Tan) treats facial scars caused by smallpox.
Finely grind Miduoseng (Lithargyrum), mix with water, apply at night, and wash off the next morning to restore smoothness.
