乳之候非一端，伤乳停痰胃热寒，热宜和中清热饮，寒用温中止吐煎，伤乳平胃散
最妙，停痰二陈汤可痊，若是满而自溢者，常须节乳自能安。
【注】小儿 乳，证非一端，有宿乳、停痰、胃寒、胃热之分，不可一例而治。如面
色多赤，二便微秘，手足指热，此为热 也，宜和中清热饮主之；面色青白，粪青多沫，手
足指冷，此因寒而 也，宜温中止吐汤主之；口热唇干，夜卧不宁、手足心热，此为伤乳
而也，宜平胃散主之；胸膈膨满，呕吐痰涎，此因停痰而 也，宜枳桔二陈汤主之。若
吃乳过多，满而自溢者，不须服药，惟节乳则 见自止矣。
和中清热饮
黄连（姜炒） 半夏（姜制） 陈皮 茯苓 藿香 砂仁
引用姜水煎服。

温中止吐汤
白豆蔻（研） 茯苓 半夏（姜制） 生姜
水煎，冲磨沉香汁服。

平胃散
苍术（炒） 陈皮 浓朴（姜炒） 甘草（炙） 麦芽（炒） 砂仁（研）
引用姜水煎服。
【方歌】小儿伤乳多吐 ，平胃调中功可见，苍陈浓朴甘草偕，加入麦砂姜一片。
枳桔二陈汤
枳壳（麸炒） 桔梗 陈皮 半夏（姜制） 茯苓 甘草（炙）
引用姜水煎服。
【方歌】停痰 乳不能安，枳桔二陈汤最先，枳桔陈半苓甘草，生姜加入实时痊。
The manifestations of infant regurgitation (Ru Pi) are not limited to a single pattern; they may result from milk injury, phlegm retention, stomach heat, or stomach cold. If it is a heat pattern, Hezhong Qingre Yin (Harmonize the Middle and Clear Heat Decoction) should be used; if it is a cold pattern, Wenzhong Zhi Tu Jian (Warm the Middle and Stop Vomiting Decoction) should be used. For milk injury, Pingwei San (Pingwei Powder) is most effective; for phlegm retention, Erchen Tang (Two-Cured Decoction) can cure it. If the regurgitation occurs naturally due to overfeeding causing breast distension, simply regulating the feeding amount will allow it to settle on its own.
[Note] Infant regurgitation presents various patterns, categorized into retained milk (Su Ru), phlegm retention, stomach cold, and stomach heat. They cannot be treated with a uniform approach. For instance, if the face is often red, bowel movements and urination are slightly constipated, and the fingertips are hot, this indicates a heat-induced regurgitation, which should be primarily treated with Hezhong Qingre Yin. If the complexion is cyanotic and pale, stools are green and frothy, and the fingertips are cold, this indicates regurgitation caused by cold, which should be primarily treated with Wenzhong Zhi Tang. If there is oral heat, dry lips, restless sleep at night, and hot palms and soles, this indicates regurgitation due to milk injury, which should be primarily treated with Pingwei San. If there is distension in the chest and diaphragm with vomiting of phlegm and saliva, this indicates regurgitation due to phlegm retention, which should be primarily treated with Zhijie Erchen Tang. If the regurgitation results from excessive feeding leading to fullness and natural overflow, medication is unnecessary; merely regulating the milk intake will cause the symptoms to cease spontaneously.

Wenzhong Zhi Tang (Warm the Middle and Stop Vomiting Decoction)
Amomi Fructus [Baidoukou] (Ground), Poria [Fuling], Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum (Prepared with ginger juice) [Banxia], Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens [Shengjiang]
Decoct with water, mix with ground Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Chenxiang) juice before administration.
[Formula Song] Wenzhong Zhi Tang uses Baidoukou, Fuling and Banxia share with Shengjiang, add Chenxiang juice just before taking, specifically treating regurgitation self-overflow caused by cold injury.
