For Heart Meridian disorders, pinch and rub the Wailaogong (Outer Labor Palace) acupoint. When operating above the Sanguan (Three Passes) acupoint, movements should be slow and composed. ("Composed" refers to slow, even motions with consistent and effective force; this is a key method for inducing sweating.) If sweat does not come, rub the Ershan (Two Fans) acupoints. The "Yellow Bee Enters the Cave" technique yields miraculous results. Liver Meridian disorders often manifest as Bi syndrome (obstruction). ("Bi syndrome" here refers to drowsiness, blurred vision, and lethargy; treatment primarily involves tonifying Pi Tu (Spleen Earth) and moving Bagua (Eight Trigrams).) Pushing and tonifying Pi Tu (Spleen Earth) eliminates the disease. Bagua (Eight Trigrams) and Dachang (Large Intestine) acupoints should also be utilized. The Feijin Zouqi (Flying Gold Moving Qi) technique follows suit. When cough, phlegm, or vomiting occur: ("Cough arises from wind in the lung tubes; chronic cough causes the lung system to hang loose and fail to retract; treatment focuses on pushing Fei (Lung) and Shen (Kidney).") First, clear the Lung Meridian, then pinch the Ligong (Li Palace) acupoint. Push from Ligong to Gangan (Qian Palace). Press heavily at both ends and lightly in the middle (primarily to tonify Spleen Earth). For poor appetite, tonify Pi Tu (Spleen Earth). This is suitable for emaciated individuals. Bending the push constitutes tonification; straight pushing constitutes clearing/draining. The profound mystery lies within these subtleties (primarily focusing on tonifying Kidney Water). For dark yellow urine, clearing methods can be used. Simply push Shenshui (Kidney Water) and pinch the Hengwen (Transverse Crease). When urine volume is low, tonification is appropriate; when red and hot, clearing brings peace. Large Intestine disorders causing frequent diarrhea are treated by lateral pushing of Dachang (Large Intestine) with prolonged massage. Fenli Yinyang (Separating Yin and Yang) techniques must follow the rhythm of respiration. Only by tonifying Pi Tu (Spleen Earth) can one avoid deep-seated diseases. Small Intestine disorders involving attacking Qi are treated by massaging Hengwen (Transverse Crease) and HT Men (specific gate point); memorize these guiding points to cure illness swiftly like the wind. Mingmen (Gate of Life) disorders involving Yuanqi (Original Qi) deficiency are addressed using Pi Tu (Spleen Earth), Dachang (Large Intestine), and Bagua (Eight Trigrams). Lateral pushing of Sanguan (Three Passes) suffices true fire; Tiantian (Heavenly Gate) and elbow manipulations prevent disaster. Sanjiao (Triple Burner) disorders generating cold and heat are treated with Tianhe Shui (River Water) and Liufu (Six Fu) techniques. Knowing how to extract water resolves inflammatory heat; distinguish Yin and Yang by pinching finger joints. Bladder disorders manifesting as Lin syndrome (dysuria) are treated by tonifying Bushui (Bladder Water), moving Bagua (Eight Trigrams), and pushing Tianhe Shui (River Water). Gallbladder Meridian disorders causing bitter taste require heavy pushing of Pi Tu (Spleen Earth) without delay. Kidney Meridian disorders causing astringent urination are cleared by extending pushes of Shenshui (Kidney Water). The Kidney meridian transmits to the tip of the little finger; apply formulas and pinches accurately according to the condition. Stomach Meridian disorders involving indigestion are regulated by Pi Tu (Spleen Earth), Dachang (Large Intestine), and Bagua (Eight Trigrams). Cold stomach accompanied by heart hiccups requires warming HT Men (specific gate point) for optimal effect. Heart Meridian heat causing confusion and dementia is treated by passing Tianhe Shui (River Water) over Hongchi (Great Pool). Heart disorders benefit from tonifying Shangge (Upper Diaphragm); do not delay Sanguan (Three Passes) and Li Huo (Li Fire). Liver Meridian disorders causing closed eyes are treated by extending pushes of Pi Tu (Spleen Earth) for rapid effect. If Spleen heat causes poor appetite, adding Liufu (Six Fu) techniques quickly eliminates the disease.
