The Neilao (Inner Prison) acupoint is located at the center of the palm. It belongs to the Cold nature. The Laomingyue (Sweeping the Bright Moon) manipulation is performed here. The Dian (Pointing) technique involves gently brushing up, like a dragonfly touching the water. This method is highly effective in clearing Heart Heat.
The Wailao (Outer Prison) acupoint is located in the center of the back of the hand. It is tight and opposite to Neilao, thus also named Laogong (Prison Palace). It belongs to the Hot nature. Rubbing it induces sweating and can treat symptoms such as white stool that does not change, and undigested food. It treats various abdominal diarrhea diseases and persistent high fever. Rubbing this point reduces heat; this is the principle of using Fire to attack Fire. Another view states that counter-clockwise rotation generates Cold, while clockwise rotation generates Heat.
Daling (Great Palaces) acupoint is located below Wailao, at the distal interphalangeal joint on the back of the hand, above Yiwo Feng (A Nest of Wind). Pushing from Wailao to Daling aims to induce vomiting of phlegm in children. Reversing the push from Daling back to Wailao drains Heart Heat. Using the thumb, rotate left three times, then rub right once. Apply heavy pressure on the left and light pressure on the right to achieve miraculous effects in inducing vomiting and purging. However, this "Nine Heavy, Three Light" technique is easily forgotten and must be memorized carefully to avoid errors. If confused, vomiting cannot be induced.
(Note: Stopping vomiting and diarrhea is the key point. Claims that treatment relies solely on inducing vomiting or purging are absurd and detestable.)
Men (Gate) acupoint is located below the thumb, on a raised, flat, board-like fleshy area. It belongs to the Wei Wan (Stomach Epigastrium). The Hengwen (Transverse Crease) refers to the major transverse crease, the large horizontal line under the palm. Pushing straight from Men to the Hengwen stops vomiting miraculously. Rotating from the Hengwen back to Men stops diarrhea miraculously.
If vomiting and diarrhea occur simultaneously, first push for half the amount to stop vomiting, then perform combined pushing. Pushing towards Men should be heavy (to stop vomiting). Pushing back from the crease should be light (to stop diarrhea). For symptoms of shortness of breath and Qi attacking, pushing this point brings relief. Rou (Rub) Men for Hou Zhang (Roaring Distension).
Zongjing (General Meridian) is located below Xiaotianxin (Little Heavenly Heart), above Neijianshi (Inner Interspace History). The meridians and collaterals of the tendons of the five fingers disperse from here, hence the name Zongjing. For pediatric convulsions with twitching and jumping of limbs, hold the child horizontally for one shichen (two hours). If it does not stop, pinch Dadun (Great Rush) acupoint. Dadun is on the big toe; for boys, pinch the right foot; for girls, pinch the left foot. If it is Yingzhao Jing (Eagle Claw Convulsion), rub after pinching this point.
Xinjing (Heart Meridian) corresponds to Zhongchong (Middle Rush) acupoint at the tip of the finger. For pediatric convulsive death (apparent death from convulsions), pinch this point first to test. If the child cries out, it is treatable. If not, pinch Weiling (Mighty Spirit) acupoint to test again.
