According to *Shenghui Fang*: When infantile erysipelas (Xiao'er Dan) erupts on both arms and turns crimson-black within a day, it is called Shenhuo Dan (Divine Fire Erysipelas). Squeeze the juice from the flowers of *Sedum aizoon* (Jingtian Cao), gently rub the affected area first, then apply the juice; continue until healed. Take half a jin (approx. 500g) of crucian carp, pound it into a paste, and apply to the lesion; frequent application is beneficial. Apply powder of *Gardeniae Fructus* (Zhizi Ren) mixed with vinegar.

According to *Shenghui Fang*: Infantile erysipelas erupts as if burning, located under the ribs with a bright red color, initially starting from the forehead or ears, accompanied by severe pain, is called Yinghuo Dan (Fluorescent Fire Erysipelas). Take *Adzuki Bean* (Chixiaodou, one he), Niter (Nanshi, half liang), and Cold Water Stone (Hanshui Shi, one fen), grind into powder. Mix half qian with cold water for oral administration three times daily, adjusting dosage according to the child's age. (Zhang's method suggests mixing with cold water for topical application). Mix loess from the stove (one he) with raw oil (two he), grind into a paste, and apply frequently until healed. If the eruption spreads to the yin region, failure to treat will result in death. Pound *Sedum aizoon* (Jingtian Cao) thoroughly, mix with vinegar, and apply.

According to *Shenghui Fang*: Infantile erysipelas begins on the back, spreading over the whole body, forming sores within a day and night, is called Zhutian Huodan (Vermilion Field Fire Erysipelas). The treatment involves boiling roots of *Rhamnus* species (Ji Gen) to wash the area. If sores have formed, dust with *Adzuki Bean* powder; if not yet formed, mix *Adzuki Bean* powder with egg white for application. Alternatively, apply Indigofera tinctoria extract (Lantian). Or apply egg white.

According to *Shenghui Fang*: Infantile erysipelas erupts between the inner aspects of both arms and the sacrococcygeal region, appearing bright red, flowing to the glans penis causing swelling, redness, and bleeding. Treatment formula: Shepherd's Purse Leaf (Qie Ye, three liang), *Adzuki Bean* (Chixiaodou, one he), Ash from the stove door (Lumen Shang Hui, one liang), Fat of blue sheep (Qingyang Zhi, three liang), Scallion white (Cong Bai, two stalks, chopped). Mix all ingredients, pound into a paste. Rub onto the lesion; re-rub when dry.
Another prescription: *Asarum* (Xixin, one liang), glutinous rice (Nuomi, one he), *Sedum aizoon* (Jingtian Cao, three liang), pound into a paste and apply to the erysipelas until healed.
Yet another prescription: Dragon's House Earth (Fulonggan) and *Adzuki Bean* in equal parts, ground into powder, mixed with egg white for topical application. Also, bathe in decoction of mulberry root (Sang Gen). Powder of *Plantago Seed* (Cheqianzi), mixed with water for application. Boil one sheng of silkworm excrement (Cansha) in water, remove dregs, and wash the area. Powder of iron filings (Tieluo), mixed with maltose (Ying) into a paste for application. Pound fresh duckweed (Fuping) and apply.
*Qianjin Fang* states: Infantile erysipelas starts from the thigh. For infants under one hundred days old, if they offend the Kitchen God while traveling, heat may flow downward to the yin region, causing redness, swelling, and bleeding at the glans penis. Apply *Dragon's House Earth* (Fulonggan) mixed with egg white. Alternatively, pound crucian carp meat together with red and white beans into a paste, add a little water, and apply.
