The physical forms of twenty-five types of people differ from the general population, excluding those of Yin and Yang constitutions.
Derived from blood and qi, constitutions are distinguished by external manifestations to understand internal states. First, five basic forms are established: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. By distinguishing their corresponding five colors and analyzing these five categories of people, the twenty-five types are fully categorized.
Wood-type individuals correspond to the "Shang" pitch class (note: text says Shang/Jue contextually implies Jue for Wood, but text explicitly says "Shang" in some versions or here "Jue" is implied by Cang Di/East, text says "Bi yu shang jiao", actually text says "Bi yu shang jiao" which might be a typo for "Jue" or specific classification, let's stick to text "Shang Jiao" or interpret as Wood category), resembling the Azure Emperor (Cang Di). These individuals have a bluish complexion, small heads, long faces, broad shoulders and backs, straight bodies, and small hands and feet. They are talented but mentally overworked, physically weak, and prone to worry and labor. They can tolerate Spring and Summer but not Autumn and Winter; contracting pathogens in Autumn/Winter leads to illness. The Qi of the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian manifests as *Tuotuo ran* (leisurely and contented).
Taijue individuals correspond to the Left Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, with the upper part of the Shaoyang meridian manifesting as *Yiyi ran* (abundant).
Zuojue (also called Shaojue) individuals correspond to the Right Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, with the lower part of the Shaoyang meridian manifesting as *Suisui ran* (compliant).

These individuals have a ruddy complexion, broad chests, sharp facial contours ("Tuo" means sharp), small heads, full shoulders, backs, thighs, and abdomens, and small hands and feet. They walk steadily on the ground, have quick/irritable hearts, shake their shoulders while walking, have full back muscles, possess integrity, disdain wealth, lack trustworthiness, think excessively, see things clearly, value appearance, are impatient, have short lifespans, and may die suddenly. They can tolerate Spring and Summer but not Autumn and Winter; contracting pathogens in Autumn/Winter leads to illness. The Qi of the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian manifests as *Hehe ran* (firm and tight). (Note: "Jixin" is synonymous with "Jixin" [impatient], repetition of meaning. Alternatively, "Jixin" refers to a ruthless heart.)

(Besides the five primary forms, each has four secondary forms. Left/Right/Up/Down refer to meridians. The various "-ran" states describe morphology. Similar to distinguishing people from Zhejiang, Guangdong, Qilu, or Xianghu regions at a glance. However, the left-right pairing differs from the "Five Tones and Five Flavors" chapter, and the underlying principles remain unclear. This concludes the description of the twenty-five human forms and qi.)
