苦，寒。消食积，降阴火，大解五脏实热。
腊月截淡竹，去青皮，浸渗取汁，名粪清。治天行热病，中毒。以竹筒入甘草末于内，

塞紧，冬月浸粪缸中，立春取出，悬风处阴干，破竹取甘草晒干，名人中黄。治同粪清。
咸，寒。消瘀血，止吐衄，下胞胎，疗血运。且能引肺火下行，从膀胱而出，反本还原，

归旧路也。瓶盛热浸，治人咬指伤。和酒饮，治跌扑损伤。调竹沥，治胁胀作痛。同甘草，
治久嗽。加猪胆汁，入姜附汤，治伤寒少阴症厥逆无脉，下利不止，干呕欲饮水者。
行瘀，入韭汁。目赤痛，乘热抹之。瘴疟，和白蜜搅，去沫服。产后过饮，生带病。怯

服溺水，无异毒药。（病者小便多郁热腥秽故也。）

Treats inverted smallpox. Combined with pig blood taken orally, treats black depression of lesions.
The teeth in the middle are called Chi, those on the sides are called Ya. Quench with wine, then quench again with Chinese chive juice; use only 1-2 liang (approx. 0.3-0.6g). Contraindicated for smallpox with Qi deficiency, pale color, itching and collapse, as well as heat prickly heat with purple blisters.

Also known as Huang Long Tang (Yellow Dragon Decoction).
Bitter, cold. Eliminates food stagnation, descends Yin fire, greatly clears excess heat from the five Zang organs.
In the twelfth lunar month, cut Dendrocalamus latiflorus (Dan Zhu) bamboo, remove the green skin, soak and filter to extract juice, named Fen Qing (Urine Clearing Liquid). Treats epidemic febrile diseases (Tian Xing Re Bing) and poisoning. Put Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao) powder into a bamboo tube, seal tightly with wood, immerse in a urine vat during winter, retrieve at Lichun (Start of Spring), hang in a ventilated place to dry in shade, break the bamboo to take out the Gan Cao and sun-dry it, named Ren Zhong Huang. The effects are the same as Fen Qing.
Salty, cold. Dissolves blood stasis, stops hematemesis and epistaxis, expels the afterbirth, treats syncope due to blood stasis (Xue Yun). It can also guide Lung Fire downward to exit via the Bladder, returning to the root and restoring original state, going back to the old path. Soak in hot water in a bottle for external application, treats human bite injuries to fingers. Drink mixed with wine, treats traumatic injuries from falls. Mix with Phyllostachys heterocycla var. pubescens sap (Zhu Li), treats hypochondriac distension and pain. Combined with Gan Cao, treats chronic cough. Add Pig Bile (Zhu Dan), enter into Jiang Fu Tang, treats Shaoyin syndrome of Cold Damage presenting with cold limbs, pulselessness, continuous diarrhea, dry retching, and desire to drink water.
To move blood stasis, add Chive juice. For red and painful eyes, apply while hot. For malarial fever caused by miasma, mix with white honey, remove foam, and take. Overconsumption postpartum causes leukorrhea disease. Weak patients taking it themselves is no different from poison. (Because the patient's urine often has stagnant heat, foul smell, and turbidity.)

Namely Niao Bai (Urine Sediment/Scum).
Salty, slightly cool. Enters the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian and Foot Taiyang Bladder Meridian. Descends fire (causes Liver, Gallbladder, and Bladder fire to exit via urination). Clears phlegm, dissolves stasis, stops epistaxis. Treats inverted smallpox, sweating blood from skin. With fried Earthworm (Di Long) powder and Sheep Bile instilled into the nose, treats lateral or frontal headache. Combined with Chicken Droppings (Ji Shi), treats spider venom. Combined with Hemp Seed (Ma Ren) and Donkey-hide Gelatin (E Jiao), treats constipation due to blood deficiency. Mixed with Alum (Ku Fan), sprinkled on oral and lingual ulcers. Combined with Verdigris (Tong Lv) and Musk (She Xiang), treats gan gangrene (Zou Ma Gan).
Those dried for a long time by wind are superior. Grind on a new tile for use.
