(For any golden wound or other trauma causing fainting, urgently use hot urine to pour in large amounts to restore consciousness; child's urine is particularly good.)
Take Ziteng Xiang (the best quality of Jiangxiang/Dalbergia odorifera), scrape it down using a porcelain shard or tile, and grind it finely with a stone mill. (The reason for avoiding copper and iron tools in all such processes is implied.) Apply it to the wound to stop bleeding immediately, and it will not leave scars. For wounds caused by blades where pain is unbearable and bleeding cannot be stopped, select high-quality chicken bone ash that makes a crisp sound when thrown on the ground, and mix it in equal parts with transparent and pure Pine Resin (Songxiang). Pound them into one piece, then mix thoroughly with Chive Juice (Jiucai Zhi) and dry in the shade. Repeat this mixing and pounding process three or four times, then grind into a fine powder for storage. It is best prepared on Si days, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Qixi Festival, or auspicious days. Applying it to the affected area restores it to normal. If blood flows incessantly, apply finely ground Qiannian Duanshi (Millennium Calcined Iron Ore) to the wound for immediate effect. Alternatively, mash Chives with aged Duanshi into a cake, dip it in a stalk of Lotus Root (Ou), remove the nodes, mash the root with skin included, and cover the wound to stop bleeding. Another method: mix Pine Resin and Raw Pinellia Tuber (Sheng Banxia) into a powder and apply; it is also effective. Furthermore, Duanshi (slightly aged ones are acceptable, use 6 liang, mixed with 1 liang of Rhubarb/Dahuang), stir-fry together until they turn peach-blossom color, remove the Rhubarb, sieve the remaining material, which is excellent. Alternatively, sprinkle dry flour mixed with white sugar on the wound; it is also effective. Another prescription: True Jiangxiang (sliced and roasted over fire to remove oil), Lychee Seed (Lizhi He), and Dragon's Blood (Xuejie) in equal parts, grind into a fine powder and apply to the wound for immediate effect; even severed fingers can be reattached. Yet another prescription: Sanqi Powder, Cuttlefish Bone (Haipiaoxiao - remove hard shell), and Longan Seed (Longyan He - peel off outer smooth skin), each ground into powder separately, applied to the wound; all are effective.
(For evisceration, have someone hold fresh, absorbed cold water in their mouth and spray it onto the patient's face to induce shivering, which causes the intestine to retract temporarily. After retraction, suture the wound with hemp rope. Use Qili San or Hua...)
Boil five sheng of Wheat (Xiaomai) in nine sheng of water until reduced to four sheng. Filter the juice through cotton cloth. When the juice is extremely cold, have the patient lie on a mat. One person holds the juice in their mouth and sprays it onto the wound, while simultaneously spraying the patient's back, causing the intestine to retract temporarily. At this time, do not let the patient know, and avoid having many people speak nearby. If the intestine has not fully retracted, lift the four corners of the mat and gently shake it, and the intestine will retract on its own. Once retracted, suture tightly using thread lubricated with Sesame Oil (Mayou) (or use hemp thread, or threads made from the fuzz of Mulberry White Bark/Sangbaipi tips, lubricated with sesame oil. Do not suture the outer redundant skin; apply medicine to promote flesh growth in the open wound). Bind securely with moistened cloth. Be careful not to startle the patient, lest the wound burst open again. Taking Xionggui Tang or Qili San is also good. The most important thing is to ensure that urination and defecation are not constipated or difficult.
