Jiazhi Gao (Interleaved Paper Plaster): Take Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper), Songxiang (Pine Rosin), and Huangla (Yellow Beeswax) (each 1.4 qian), grind into powder, avoiding iron vessels. Use fourteen segments of scallion whites with roots, pound them together until mushy, make into Jiazhi Gao, spread and apply to the affected area for efficacy.
For all sores, when using Jiazhi Gao, old umbrella paper must be used, boiled in Gancao Tang (Licorice Decoction), and densely pricked with many holes; it is more effective than other papers. If ordinary oil paper is used, it must be boiled in a decoction of Gancao (Licorice), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Huajiao (Zanthoxylum Pericarpium), and Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), dried, and then the plaster spread on it; otherwise, it will cause pain and hinder granulation/healing.
