The above herbs are weighed according to their respective dosages, processed into clean powders, and formed into pills using vinegar paste, sized like paulownia seeds. Take thirty pills per dose.

Ovis Tendon (Yudu, 鱼肚) [Stir-fried with Clam Shell Powder (Gefen, 蛤粉) until silent, remove powder, add a little suet/butter, stir-fry, one *jin*]; Cuscutae Semen (Tusizi, 菟丝子) [Boiled with wine and water into cakes, dried, two *liang*); True North Shayuan (Beishayuan, 北沙苑, i.e., Tribuli Semen) [Weigh accurately, process into clean powder, grind together for over a thousand times, make into pills with refined honey, sized like paulownia seeds. Take one chicken egg, wrap it in mugwort leaves, and ignite with incense fire. Wait until the mugwort is completely burned out and smoke ceases. Remove the ash and eggshell, and consume the egg. Drink three to five *he* (a traditional unit of volume) of unadulterated wine.
