[Shengjin Dan (Vital Metal Pill)] Harmonizes the meridians and benefits essence. Tonifies various deficiencies to facilitate conception. Also treats conditions before and after childbirth, irregular menstruation, strangury, turbid urine, leukorrhea with red or white discharge, etc. For female use.

Xiangfu (Cyperi Rhizoma, one jin, processed with infant's urine, wine, salt, and vinegar; soaked for seven days in spring, three days in summer, eight days in autumn, ten days in winter, then stir-fried); Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang 5 qian); Baiwei (Cynanchi Atrati Radix, 4 liang, remove rhizome); Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 1 liang 5 qian); Shudi (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, 5 qian - *note: original text fragmentary*); Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 7 qian 5 fen). Heche (Placenta Hominis, one placenta, washed with wine, blood vessels removed with silver needle, dried to crisp); Roucongrong (Cistanche Deserticolae Herba, washed with wine); Tusizi (Cuscutae Semen, washed with wine); Shechuangzi (Cnidii Fructus, soaked in wine); Wuweizi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus) [text fragmentary]. Grind the above into powder, mix with honey to make pills the size of a wutong seed. Take thirty pills daily with warm wine, on an empty stomach.

Gouqizi (Lycii Fructus, 8 liang, washed with wine); Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 4 liang, washed with wine); Lianrui (Nelumbinis Plumula, 4 liang); Shayuanjili (Astragali Complanati Semen, 4 liang, lightly stir-fried); Yubiao (Bufo Cornu, cut into bean-sized pieces) [text fragmentary]. Grind together into powder, mix with honey to make pills the size of a wutong seed. Take fifty pills on an empty stomach.

Treats male consumptive disease and emaciation, impotence in middle age, shortness of spirit, premature graying of hair and beard before age fifty, difficulty walking, coldness of the lower yuan, and infertility for a long time.

Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Shanyuzhu (Corni Fructus), Fuling (Poria), Tiandong (Asparagi Radix), Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), Chishizhi (Halloysit Rubrum, separately ground), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (each 1 liang), Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix), Shudi (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata)...
