Lotus seeds (heart removed), pine nut kernels, walnut meat, white ginkgo nuts, longan aril, each in equal parts, soaked in strong liquor. Take one or two cups as needed.
Treats deficiency and damage of essence and blood in men. Impotence and infertility.
Xianmao (Polygoni Multiflori Caulis, four liang, soaked in rice water until the red juice is removed), Yinyanghuo (Epimedii Folium, four liang, edges removed), Wujia Pi (Acanthopanacis Cortex, four liang).
Chop the above herbs into slices. Place them in a raw silk bag. Soak in wine for one month. Drink at will.
Promotes Yang and increases fertility with miraculous effects.
Qizi (Lycii Fructus, four liang), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, two liang, washed with wine and sliced), Shudi (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, six liang).
Place the above herbs in a silk bag and put them into a jar. Add five or six large pots of good wine. Simmer over boiling water for the time it takes to burn two incense sticks. Bury in the earth for seven days. Drink three or five cups every morning and evening.
