First, wash the affected area with rice washing water (water used for rinsing rice). Scrape open Pangolin Scales (*Squama Manitis*). Then, grind white sugar into a paste, mix it with liquorice root juice (*Gancao Zhi*), and apply the mixture to the lesion.
Realgar Orpiment (*Cihuang*), Indigo Naturalis (*Qingdai*), and Calomel (*Qingfen*) in equal parts are ground into fine powder. For moist tinea (*Shi Xuan*), sprinkle the dry powder directly; for dry tinea, scratch the skin with fingernails before applying the medicine, then cover with Cooling Ointment (*Liangqing Gao*). If yellow fluid exudes, it will naturally heal after about seven or eight days when the fluid dries up.
Take one pair of male chicken kidneys, split them open, and rub them on the affected area. It will heal in a few days.
Sesame Oil (*Xiangyou*, 1 liang), Whole Scorpion (*Quanxie*, 7 pieces), Croton Seed (*Badou*, 20 grains), and Blister Beetle (*Banmao*, 10 pieces) are boiled together until charred black. Filter out the dregs, add 1 qian of Yellow Resin (*Huangzhan*), wait for it to melt, and store. Apply in the morning, and it will be cured by evening.
Jinshenhua Flower (*Jinshenhua*, 5 qian), Schizonepeta (*Jingjie*, 2 qian), Saposhnikovia Root (*Fangfeng*, 2 qian), Liquorice Root (*Gancao*, 1 qian), Alum (*Baifan*, 5 fen), Verbena (*Mabiancao*, 5 qian), and Sichuan Pepper (*Chuanjiao*). Decoct these herbs in water for fumigation and washing. Three to four treatments are sufficient for cure.
Raw Gypsum Fibrosum (*Sheng Shigao*, 1 liang), Sulfur (*Liuhuang*, 1 qian), and Calcined Alum (*Kufan*, 5 fen) are ground together into powder. Mix with lard (*Zhuyou*) and rub onto the affected area.
Concha Margaritifera (*Gafen*), Raw Gypsum Fibrosum (*Sheng Shigao*, 1 liang), Calomel (*Qingfen*, 5 qian), and Phellodendron Bark (*Huangbai*, 5 qian) are ground into powder. For moist scabies (*Shi Jie*), sprinkle the powder directly; for dry scabies, grind Areca Seed (*Binglang*) with rendered lard until pale red, then use this mixture to apply the powder. If itching is severe, add a small amount of Calcined Alum (*Kufan*).
Big Leaf Maple Seed (*Dafengzi*, 49 grains, shelled), Borneol (*Zhangbing*), Sichuan Pepper (*Huajiao*), Areca Seed (*Binglang*, 3 qian each), Calcined Alum (*Kufan*, 2 qian), Realgar (*Xionghuang*, 2 qian), and Mercury (*Shuiyin*). First, grind the maple seeds and mercury together until no mercury spots are visible. Then, grind several oil walnuts until pasty, add the previously prepared medicines, and pound into pills the size of a longan. During the day, rub the nose with hands to inhale the scent.
Decoct Cnidium Fruit (*Shechuangzi*) in water to wash the affected area three to five times until the fishy smell is gone. Then, grind Phellodendron Bark (*Huangbai*, 1 liang) and Calcined Alum (*Kufan*, 3 qian) into powder, mix with sesame oil (*Mayou*), and apply.
Pig trotters (*Zhujiao*) that are black are preferred. The quantity is not restricted. Place one raw Gardenia Fruit (*Sheng Zhizi*) and a little Alum (*Baifan*) inside each trotter.
