Treatment for *pi* accumulation (masses in the abdomen) in the heart and abdomen, with internal nodules like fists, and unbearable pain around the umbilicus: Use Zhuang Huang (a type of Rhubarb, 1 liang) steamed with wine, Pao Jiang (Prepared Ginger, 5 qian), Fu Zi (Prepared Aconite Root, 5 qian), and Jiu Lei Bie Jia (Nine-rib Turtle Shell, 8 qian). Boil the turtle shell in high-quality vinegar for a long time, remove it, and roast it with rendered animal fat until yellow. Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Take one sheng (approx. 200ml) of three-year-old aged rice vinegar, boil it down to half a sheng, and mix with the powder to form pills the size of mung beans. Take ten pills each time, swallowed with rice soup on an empty stomach. Recovery occurs when masses resembling fish brains, necrotic blood, rotting meat, or blue mud are expelled. Subsequently, regulate with spleen-tonifying methods. Note: This formula uses inexpensive herbs but has great efficacy, ten times stronger than Xiao Pi Wan (Eliminate Masses Pill), truly miraculous.
For children with abdominal distension due to痞块 (masses), emaciation, and sallow complexion: Dry Bai Fu Rong (White Hibiscus Flower) in the shade, grind into powder, stuff into chicken liver, tie securely, steam over rice, and eat. Seven or eight treatments will cure.
For children who develop a habit of eating tea leaves leading to accumulation: Use one jin (approx. 500g) of fresh Fei Zi (Torreya Seed). Take fourteen seeds each time on an empty stomach, at noon, and at dusk. Consumption of the entire amount cures the condition. Fei Zi is available in capital city fruit shops.
For children who crave eating soil and have abdominal distension: Use high-quality loess soil. Decoct Huang Lian (Coptis Rhizome) strongly, take the clear juice, mix with soil to make cakes, and eat. Effective. Alternatively, give San qian (approx. 15g) of sesame seeds daily mixed with two fen (approx. 1g) of Xiong Huang (Realgar) powder, taken with plain boiled water.
For pediatric food stagnation forming masses: Boil one jin (approx. 500g) of large red dates with one liang (approx. 50g) of Pi Xiao (Mirabilite/Sodium Sulfate) until the water evaporates completely. Sun-dry and eat these dates daily; gradual consumption resolves the mass.
For chronic accumulation transforming into "turtle belly" where internal entities move, shaking heads and tails, large as cups, small as coins, invading upwards to the throat, eroding downwards to the anus, attaching to ribs/spine, or hiding in intestines/abdomen: Use Sheng Liu Huang (Raw Sulfur) ground into extremely fine powder. Take one qian (approx. 3.75g) daily mixed with old wine, on an empty stomach. Long-term use dissolves the entity naturally. Only use sulfur that is yellow like a newly hatched duckling. Those with green, red, or black hues are unusable. This substance is very stable; excessive use is not a concern.
Whenever children consume excessive rich, sweet, or sugary foods, damp-heat lingers long-term causing accumulation. Long-standing accumulation breeds parasites, causing intermittent abdominal pain. Palpation reveals masses or cord-like structures in the abdomen. External signs include red lips, pale face, and floating, forceful pulses throughout the six positions. Pain comes and goes; if the child can eat after pain subsides, it is undoubtedly parasitic pain. Another severe case involves death immediately upon pain onset, also caused by parasites. To expel these parasites, use Ku Lian Gen Pi (Bark of the Chinaberry Root), the premier divine formula for deworming globally. The method should be performed in the early days of the lunar month when parasite heads point upward. Dig up Chinaberry roots the night before; select trees that bear fruit annually, as these are mother trees. Roots floating near the surface are toxic and unusable. Specifically take roots from deep soil, wash clean, scrape off the red bark, retaining only the white bark. Use four to five qian for younger children, six to seven qian for older ones. Chop and set aside. The next morning, fry eggs and let the child smell them to lure parasite heads upward seeking food. In a separate room, decoct a small cup of strong Chinaberry bark tea using one cup of water. Ensure the child does not smell the medicine, as scent causes parasites to hide. Once ready, feed the egg to the child, then administer the medicine. Withhold food for half a day; resume eating only after parasites are expelled. Post-medication, the child may appear lethargic; do not worry. Spirit returns to normal after expulsion. Urgently tonify the spleen thereafter to prevent recurrence and ensure permanent safety. For mild cases, use Er Qian (Areca Seed Kernel) two qian, stir-fried with sugar water, taken three times during hunger in the early lunar month, which can also expel parasites. Another formula: Shi Jun Zi (Areca Seed, fried) and Fei Zi (Torreya Seed, shelled) ten pieces each, Bing Lang (Betel Nut) and Gan Cao (Licorice Root) one qian each. Grind to powder, mix with rice dough, and form pills the size of wu zi (wuju tree seeds). On early lunar month days, take ten pills on an empty stomach every morning. Parasites will be fully expelled in five days. After deworming, always administer Liu Jun Zi Tang (Six Gentlemen Decoction) with added Chuan Jiao (Sichuan Pepper) eight fen and Wu Mei (Mume Fruit) one piece. Several doses prevent regrowth.
