此是肝经风热也，或因病后亦变此青盲，反背瞳仁也。此证多嗜五辛，（难治。）宜服三花五子丸、镇肝散。

鹧鸪天
暴风客热疾须知，此候生时泪若悲。两 赤脉频频痒，疼痛如针实惨 。肺风热，肝经
疲，医人变动任施为。洗心凉肝方莫错，硼砂樟脑用相宜。
此是心经有客热也。宜服洗心散、洗肝散。

Xijiangyue (Moon over the West River):
The chalazion initially resembles a hemp seed; after prolonged duration, it often hangs like a bean. Rubbing the eye frequently passes the years, accompanied by pain, tearing, and swollen eyelids. This is due to wind-heat in the Spleen Meridian and toxic accumulation in the Liver attacking the eyes. Do not treat the eyes casually, or it may develop into a severe affliction as large as a pomegranate.
This is caused by wind-pathogen and heat-toxin in the Liver Meridian. This disease is difficult to treat, with cases of death occurring. In the early stage, urgent medication can be effective. Suitable formulas include Jubao San (Treasure Gathering Powder), Xiakucao San (Prunella Decoction), and Gujingcao San (Eyebright Decoction).

Xijiangyue (Moon over the West River):
Astringency and itching appear initially with sores and corneal opacities; later, pain makes opening the eyes difficult. This causes the child to cry in sorrow, with feverish head, liver wind causing dizziness, aversion to sunlight, hatred of light, and falling tears. All are due to diarrhea and dysentery. Pediatric malnutrition eye disease is also hard to harmonize; Huanjing San (Restore Vision Powder) can eliminate the harm.
This is Liver deficiency and exhaustion. Suitable formulas include Jubao San (Treasure Gathering Powder), Huanjing San (Restore Vision Powder), Huoxue San (Invigorate Blood Powder), Huanglian San (Coptis Powder), and Lushui San (Aloe Vera Powder).

Xijiangyue (Moon over the West River):
Lifting one's thoughts brings self-pity and sighs; praise for pregnancy times. Cannot stop consuming the Five Pungent Spices, making postpartum hopes for the child difficult. Sometimes vomiting yellow acid, both pupils become blind. Causing Liver heat to suffer the disaster, fixed blindness is hard to dissipate.
This is wind-heat in the Liver Meridian, or this type of blindness may change after illness, reversing the pupil direction. This condition often involves indulgence in the Five Pungent Spices, (difficult to treat). Suitable formulas include Sanhua Wuzi Wan (Three Flowers and Five Seeds Pill) and Zhen Gan San (Settle Liver Powder).

Zhegu Tian (Partridge Sky):
Acute wind and external heat disease must be known; when this condition arises, tears fall like sorrow. Both eyes have red veins frequently itching, pain like needles is truly miserable. Lung wind-heat, Liver Meridian fatigue, doctors change treatments arbitrarily. Xixin Lianggan Formula should not be mistaken; Borax and Camphor are suitable.
This is external heat in the Heart Meridian. Suitable formulas include Xixin San (Cleanse Heart Powder) and Xigan San (Cleanse Liver Powder).
