惊振内障闪珠移，热毒冲入眼中居。牵引瞳仁为反背，致令暗昧不知时。心无静，肝胆

Song Ci: "Zhegu Tian"
Traumatic cataract causes the displacement of the eyeball's luster; heat-toxin rushes into and resides in the eye. It pulls the pupil to reverse its position, causing sudden darkness and blindness without warning. The heart lacks tranquility, and the Liver and Gallbladder are deficient. This condition is named traumatic cataract, and treatment must proceed with caution and slowness. If one casually fails to take spiritual elixirs, acupuncture therapy will be rendered ineffective.
This is caused by wind-heat-toxin from the Kidney channel attacking upwards, compounded by stagnation of Qi and Blood, damaging the pupil. This syndrome is difficult to treat. It is suitable to administer Sanhua Wuzi Wan (Three-Flower Five-Seed Pill), Huoxue San (Blood-Invigorating Powder), and Huanjing Wan (Restore Vision Pill).

Song Ci: "Zhegu Tian"
In the initial stage of Green Wind Cataract, there is dizziness; pain is unrelieved as it pulls across both temples. There is intermittent pain at the bridge of the nose, and red and white opacities appear before the eyes. Heat exists on the left side of the Liver, and on the right side of the Lung; sometimes tears flow continuously from both eyes. After taking Mingmu San (Clear-Eye Powder) and Lingyang San (Antelope Horn Powder), vision becomes clear and profound.
This is headache caused by Liver deficiency and exhaustion. It is suitable to administer Sanhua Wuzi Wan (Three-Flower Five-Seed Pill), Chuanxiong San (Ligusticum Powder), Zhen Gan San (Calm-Liver Powder), and Shengjin San (Overcome-Gold Powder).

Black Wind Cataract has become fixed, with no formation of opacities resembling flowers. Sometimes itching and pain feel like clouds obscuring vision, gradually becoming dim and false. This presentation indicates excess Qi in the Liver channel; one must know that excess-heat is invading and worsening the condition. Taking Xiegan San (Drain-Liver Powder) is the correct course; after meridians are unblocked, vision becomes clear and elegant.
This is caused by Liver heat or long-standing pain not treated in time, resulting in frequent visual disturbances such as flying flowers. It is suitable to administer Mengling Wan (Dream-Spirit Pill), Sanhua Wuzi Wan (Three-Flower Five-Seed Pill), and Zhen Gan San (Calm-Liver Powder).

What is the cause of the onset of Black Wind disease? It is wind-heat invading together from the Kidney and Stomach. Its morphological symptoms are indistinguishable from Green Wind Cataract, except that Black Wind often accompanies it. To thoroughly scrape away the opacity and restore clarity, Lingyangjiao San (Antelope Horn Powder) serves as the standard. Taking Huanjing San (Restore Vision Powder) works miraculously to connect spirituality; physicians gain fame through this established method.
