For children with weak bones who cannot walk or stand by the age of seven or eight, simply administering one course of Bawei Wan (Eight-Ingredient Pill with Rehmannia Root) will lead to self-healing; its efficacy lies primarily in Alisma Rhizome (Zexie).
Take one inch of Scallion White (Congbai), split it into four pieces. Boil it with two heaping measures of milk juice in a silver or earthenware vessel until one measure remains. Administer this liquid orally for immediate recovery. Wu Neihan's grandson from the Zeng family did not suckle or urinate shortly after birth. Everyone was alarmed, suspecting a malignant condition. Grind all ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with Mint Decoction (Bohe Tang) for administration. If there is body heat, add a small amount of Cinnabar (Zhusha) powder.

Grind these ingredients into a fine powder. Form pills using wax casing to the size of mung beans or millet grains. Preserve them with Moschus (Shexiang) and Cinnabar (Zhusha). Based on the child's age and size, observe if greenish-green substances are excreted in the stool; if so, the condition is cured.
Physician Liu Congzhou from Shaozhou discussed pediatric vomiting, diarrhea, and convulsions accompanied by phlegm. He stated that one should administer Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria), adding fresh ginger and Pinellia Tuber (Banxia), decocted and taken orally. After vomiting up the phlegm, the diarrhea stops, and the convulsions subside spontaneously. This was noted by Lin Qianzhi, Jijiu (Imperial Tutor).
