The above four ingredients are ground together into a fine powder. Use boiled dates, peeled and pitted, to form pills the size of sophora seeds. Take thirty pills per dose before meals.

Rushen Wan (Miraculous Pill) for treating severe headache when no other medicine is effective.
Guangming Shihuang (Bright Sulfur) Xiaosha (Saltpeter/Niter) (each one liang, ground together extremely finely)
The above ingredients are made into water pills the size of a fingertip. Chew one pill with Lachacha (aged tea) on an empty stomach and swallow; it works miraculously. Physicians in Huaizhou, Chenzhou, use this medicine by forming it into pills the size of sophora seeds, taking fifteen pills per dose. For heatstroke, take with ice water; upon swallowing, one feels instantly refreshed. For cold injury, take with mugwort decoction.
Wang Dingguo was blown by the wind, resulting in stiffness and tension in the neck and back, dizziness of the head and eyes, and pain in both the Taiyang channel and the brain. He traveled by boat from Shanyang to Sizhou to seek medical treatment. After diagnosing his pulse, Yang Jilao immediately gave him a pill the size of a bullet to take at once. Wang hesitated due to suspicion. After one shichen (two hours), the symptoms recurred, so he took two more pills, and the illness seemed to vanish completely. Wang was very pleased and asked what the medicine was. Yang replied: "If you can name even one ingredient in this prescription, I will transmit this formula to you." Wang pondered for a long time, listing several herbs such as Chuanxiong and Fangfeng, but none were correct; only Baizhi was right. Wang regarded the medicine with even greater reverence. This medicine initially had no name. Wang said: "Since this medicine comes from people in Duliang, it can be named Duliang Wan." It primarily treats various types of wind-induced dizziness, pre- and post-natal conditions in women where wind evil strikes suddenly, heaviness and dizziness of the head and eyes, and blood-wind headaches. Taking it clarifies vision. Taking one or two pills after bathing is particularly beneficial. In cases of sudden cold followed by warmth, unclear mental state, or dizziness of the head and eyes due to Shanghan (cold damage), it is also suitable.
Xiang Baizhi (Large pieces, select fresh, clean, white ones; first brush off dust with a brown bristle brush, then soak and wash four or five times with boiling water)
Grind the above ingredient into a fine powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a bullet. Take one pill per dose, preferably chewed finely with Jingjie (Schizonepeta) brewed in aged tea, taken after meals. Regular consumption has no contraindications; chewing dry and swallowing directly is also acceptable.
