Moxibustion is applied here. Additionally, moxibustion on Xiong Tang (CV19) for 50 cones, and Bladder Meridian points for 50 cones.

Additionally, moxibustion on one point in the center of the spinal column gap, and two points above the "Yao Yan" (waist eyes). Total three points. Also moxibustion on two points four cun below Pi Shu (BL20) on the back, adjacent to the spine, with cone count based on age. Also moxibustion on three points of Shen Shu (BL23). Also moxibustion on Yao Mu, located three cun below Shen Shu, approximately 1.5 cun lateral to the spine on both sides. Press with finger to locate Guan Yuan (CV4) as one point, and two points two cun lateral to it. Yin Shi (ST32) as two points, located three cun above the knee on Fu Tu (ST33), near the knee. Alternatively, arrange in two or three columns with one cun spacing, named "Shen Xi" (Kidney Connection) (as stated in *Huangdi Neijing*: one cun below Fu Tu). Repeat every five days until reaching 150 cones per point is optimal. One site at Yong Quan can be treated with 10 cones. Da Dun, Yin Bai, and Xing Jian can be treated with 3 cones each. All other sites receive 7 cones. Repeat every five days. Stop after three rounds of moxibustion. If treating Yin meridians is ineffective, treat Yang meridians located on the lateral aspect of the foot, and moxibustion on Fei Shu (BL13) and Fei Mu (CV17/BL13 vicinity). Follow the cone counts for flowing and circulating acupoints, similar to the method for treating Yin meridians.

Wang Shi states: For Xiao Ke lasting more than 100 days, moxibustion and acupuncture are contraindicated. If performed, pus will leak continuously from the wound, leading to carbuncles, emaciation, and death. Accidental needle puncture is also taboo. If accidentally needled, the ingested water will turn into pus and discharge from the wound. If the discharge does not stop, death is inevitable. Exercise utmost caution. Patients in the early stages may be treated with acupuncture according to the prescribed methods.
